"Dancing" Star Reveals Why He Looks Great Naked
Celebrity Fitzness Report, Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment

Curious to know how celebrities squeeze fitness into their daily lives? Our fitness expert Fitz sits down with the stars and digs out their great and not-so-great methods for staying healthy.
This week I interviewed an American Gold Medalist and the most famous naked man of 2008. Shawn Johnson and Gilles Marini are two of the strongest competitors on ABC's hit show "Dancing with the Stars," and they have two of the best bodies as well. We all know Shawn's a fierce athlete and Gilles ... well, we all know that he looks spectacular in the buff.
Gilles made us drool as Samantha's sexy neighbor in the "Sex and the City" movie, and he reveals to us his secret to staying outrageously lean and muscular. Shawn divulged what shocked her about ballroom dancing and whether or not she expects to bring home that disco ball trophy. If nothing else has inspired you to become more fit, these two sure will!

Hottest Celeb Guys
By Mary Kearl
12: Kevin Eubanks
Kevin Eubanks has made his name as a jazz musician as the leader of Jay Leno's Tonight Show's band. Now he has gained recognition for his healthy vegetarian lifestyle by being voted PETA's World's Sexiest Vegetarian man in 2007. Eubanks' reason for choosing this lifestyle? "Every night before the show, I make sure [my] guitar is perfectly tuned," he has said. "And every day, I do the same for my body -- with healthy, vegetarian meals. It's the easiest way to stay fit and feel great."

7: Matt Damon
This cutie has been known to do some crazy yo-yo dieting for movie roles. But we love Matt Damon for bulking up for his lead role in 'The Bourne Identity' series -- becoming Jason Bourne required months of training in kickboxing, martial arts, and weaponry. Director Paul Greengrass has called Damon an "amazing sportsman" -- and we couldn't agree more.
6: David Beckham
You know the accolades -- two-time finalist for FIFA World Player of the year, one of the highest paid "football" players, Posh Spice's man-candy, object of lust of every other female. AOL Body loves David Beckham because he's supportive of his wife's fitness goals -- and 'cause he's willing to push himself to that next level of fitness. We hear he does running sessions on sand -- on top of his regular workouts -- yikes!

4: Brad Pitt
Brad Pitt has a slew of workouts and websites dedicated to honoring his celeb fitness status: BradPittWorkout.com, Brad Pitt's "Troy Workout," and "How to Be Ripped Like Brad Pitt (Tyler Durden) From Fight Club in 12 Weeks Or Less." Each includes a mix of aerobic intensity and strength training, targeting back, arms, shoulders, and naturally, ab muscles. These days, however, Pitt has put his celeb life on pause for the concern of others' health, donating a reported $1 million to Doctors Without Borders, which Pitt has said was good for his health too. "It's personally rewarding when you see lives change because of an action you take that, though simple for you, means so much to others. You sleep peacefully at night."

3: Matthew McConaughey
Matthew McConaughey is the hottest poster boy for outdoor fitness we know. Whether running, biking, hiking, or swimming, he always seems to be workin' it outdoors (how else could we see so many shirtless paparazzi pics?). But lately we hear he's taken up an even rougher and tougher workout -- stand up paddle surfing -- a variation of surfing that gives his whole body a workout. Hey, whatever he's doing, he can keep on doing it.

1: Will Smith
We've always loved this Bad Boy's legendary abs and toned arms. True to form, Will Smith has written song lyrics that explain his mantra for fitness and life: "The key to life is on a treadmill." Or, as he told 'Reader's Digest,' "When I say I am going to run three miles, I run five. With that mentality, it is actually difficult to lose."?We couldn't have said it better.

Could Sweating With Your Sweetie Mean More Sex?
Over at Lemondrop, one of the writers posed a question that might interest you a lot. She wanted to know if couples' exercise, like, at the gym, equals more exercise between the sheets. And, she didn't just ask it -- she researched it.She and her husband tried a variety of physical feats, ranging from tennis to dancing to walking to hula hooping, and her results were mixed. Certain activities, like salsa dancing, really got them going, while others (like the tennis) left them a sweaty mess, but not the naughty kind.
What I'm curious to know is how much of it has to do with exercising together and how much of it has to do with just getting moving. I feel far sexier when I've gotten in a good workout, and therefore, I'm far more likely to initiate a romantic encounter. While I enjoy working out with my husband, I can't say that it increases the probability of a mattress mambo more than working out separately would. What do you think?
Vegetarians - PETA Claims They Have Better Sex

Do vegetarians have an advantage in the bedroom?
According to a very unscientific poll at EatVeg.com, yes. "Flesh eating is a barrier to pleasure," claims one vegetarian author. (What does that even mean?)
On the other hand, a 2000 study found that low-protein diets can lead to sexual decline as a person ages. Our own Laura Lewis offers a more balanced view. She recommends a Mediterranean diet for better sex; it's high in protein, but gets it from sources like nuts, beans, and fish rather than meat.
What Defines Sexy?
Celebs & Entertainment, Reviews & Products, Motivation
Our society is funny. Thin celebrities are bashed for being thin, yet stars who gain more than five "extra" pounds are criticized for being overweight. What the hell?
I look around my neighborhood and see lots of happy people of all different shapes and sizes, and I imagine (not in a creepy lewd and lascivious way) that many of those people are having sex! You know ... they "get busy" and "do the deed." So my thought process in the long run is that sexy is really not so much about looking like a Calvin Klein model, but more about the way we act and feel.
So what makes you feel sexy? Lots of girls seem to strut their stuff in lingerie, stilettos or shiny shirts. Guys work the boot cut jeans or Under Armour T's, I suppose. Me? I feel best in my black cowboy boots. Am I a western girl at all? Not really. But those boots make me feel just a tad more powerful and as you'll read next ... I love power.
3 Quickie Moves to Tighten Your Butt and Legs
If you're in search of sexy legs and a curvy can, squeeze these three moves into your workouts a few times each week. In fact, even if you aren't going to do a "full workout," just do these moves and your lower body will shine. I do these often myself and often incorporate them into the training sessions of my personal training clients. Each move works a variety of lower body muscles, and all of them will provide results quite quickly!
Squat Jumps: Squat down like a frog and explosively jump up as high as you can. This exercise will also crank up your heart rate, so begin with several sets of five jumps in a row with a short break in between. Increase your reps each workout.
Walking Lunges: Find a stretch of open space like a sidewalk or group fitness room. Alternating legs, take huge steps forward dropping your back knee close to the ground. Keep your back straight and avoid driving your front knee past your front ankle. Begin with 20 lunges and progress by adding steps or distance each time your train.
Heidi Klum Isn't Afraid to Bare It All
Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment

Of course, having a body like Klum's certainly helps with confidence. And Klum doesn't come across her great figure without effort. "You have to work out to be sexy," says Klum. "People always ask me how I stay in shape," continues Klum. "What really makes me do it is because I have a hot man waiting at home for me."
Motivation certainly is important for exercise. While the rest of us may not have Seal waiting at home, we all need motivation, too. What inspires you to exercise?
The Best Chests in Hollywood
Celebrities and Entertainment, Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment
According to People magazine's December 1 issue touting the "Sexiest Man Alive," the guys in this gallery have the best chests in Hollywood. I have to admit, they've done a really great job of choosing the winners in this category. The only one I can think of who may have been wrongfully left out is 50 Cent. But a ton of other hottie bodies were included, so we'll forgive the People folks for that oversight.
If you'd like to develop your chest to look like hard, rounded mounds of muscle, try some of the advanced push-ups in this video.

Can you spot an edible aphrodisiac?
I've heard that the oyster is an aphrodisiac -- you know, an agent that arouses sexual desire. But Women's Health tells me it really isn't -- unless your man is able to down 50 of them all at one time. Then, it might just increase his libido. What about a banana? I've certainly never heard that this fruit can do the trick. But WH says it can. It's not just the shape that is suggestive, though. Eating this healthy fruit can give your sex life a boost with its powerful potassium and B vitamins -- both are nutrients essential to sexual hormone production. What about red wine, chocolate, cinnamon, chili peppers, pomegranate, and asparagus? I'm not telling. But I will send you over to this quiz where you can test your sexy smarts on these foods and more. As it turns out, I'm not so fit when it comes to spotting sensual foods. Maybe you'll do better. Let us know.
We Love To Gawk At Fit Celebs: Charlize Theron thinks curves are sexy
We Love To Gawk At Fit Celebs, Diet & Weight Loss, Celebs & Entertainment
It often seems like Hollywood's leading ladies get sucked into the "thinner is better" mentality, but not Charlize Theron. The A-list actress gained almost 30 pounds for her Oscar-winning role in Monster, but she also lost nearly the same amount for a different role in Sweet Sixteen, and she didn't like either extreme.Charlize said, "I hated being fat but I also hated being so thin. I went down to a size six and just felt completely uncomfortable." She recalled feeling ribs and bone when wrapping her arms around herself, which made her feel "totally unsexy."
Despite the pressures of Hollywood, Charlize remains insistent that her curves belong on her body, and that "women have to work out what makes them feel comfortable, whether it's about their weight or their clothes." And, while it's not like Charlize's curves are out of control by any means -- she's always looked very slender to me -- it's still refreshing to hear her say that she prefers healthy curves to skin and bone.
Matthew McConaughey wants you to "go for distance"
Healthy Habits, Womens Health, Cellulite, Obesity, Diet & Weight Loss, Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment, Reviews & Products, Motivation, Men's Health
When Matthew McConaughey trains, he doesn't need a watch and he doesn't need any sort of mile marker to tell him when he's done exercising. The boy just goes and goes and goes ... until he's drenched and exhausted. He simply just tries to run as far away from his starting point as he can.
This is his argument for doing so: "The return trip is always easier. Think about it. One, you can anticipate the road you've already traveled. Two, when it's time to eat the hay, the horses get home no matter how tired they are. Third, you're past the hump. You're in. Each step gets you closer to sitting down and relaxing." He says the beauty of all this is that the path can be different every single time.
The pressure to be sexy
Reviews & Products, Motivation
I read a news story the other day that bothered me. A Texas teenager had a custom "dress" made for prom (I use quotes because I'm not sure it had enough fabric to qualify as a dress). When she arrived at her prom, she was denied entrance because her dress was deemed inappropriate. An argument ensued, and the young girl ended up being escorted out of her prom -- in handcuffs -- by police. Whether you agree with the school or with the young girl, I think the issue at the root of this is that many young girls feel a pressure to be sexy. From rail-thin models to red carpet actresses wearing super-sexy gowns, young girls are bombarded with unrealistic images. If you've shopped for young girls' clothing lately, you've probably noticed how it's difficult to find cute, but appropriate, clothing. A good friend of mine has a 10-year-old daughter, and finding clothes that her daughter doesn't deem "nerdy" and yet still cover everything that should be covered is more difficult than you might think.
From a young age, girls need to be reminded that beauty isn't just what's on the surface. Kindness, intelligence, empathy, a sense of humor ... these are all traits that contribute to real beauty. And, while it's important to stay fit and take good care of yourself, there's no need to wear jeans that ride halfway down your hips with the strings of a thong hanging out. Girls can be beautiful without inappropriately exposing themselves. Girl Power is a great site with self-esteem advice for young girls.
Vote for the sexiest vegetarian
Celebs & Entertainment, Alternative & Green Health
PETA is holding is third annual world's sexiest vegetarian contest. Past winners, including Kristen Bell, Carrie Underwood, Alicia Silverstone, and Tobey Maguire are all in the running again. You can cast your vote here. According to PETA, each vegetarian saves the lives of more than 100 animals per year -- cutting down on the environmental impact of raising animals for food as well as, hopefully, reducing demand and the cruelty that is sometimes practiced in meat production.
PETA also states that, on average, vegetarians are 10 to 20 pounds lighter than those who eat meat. And, PETA's research indicates that many vegetarians state that they feel better, have clearer skin, and have more energy on a vegetarian diet. If you're considering a vegetarian diet, be sure to do your research. It can be a very healthy way of living but it requires taking steps to get enough protein and iron.
"Sexy" voice linked to fertility
Did you ever see that episode of Friends where Phoebe had a cold but loved it because she was singing with a "sexy" voice? It turns out a bad head cold isn't the only way to acquire a sexier voice than usual. Research indicates that women's voices become more alluring when they're at their peak of fertility.Recordings were taken of women's voices at different times during their menstrual cycle. When replayed to both women and men, the recordings taken closest to ovulation were rated as more attractive. Researchers think that hormones may affect the voice box, creating a sexier voice. More work is needed to determine exactly how the voice is affected. But I think we all know why, don't we?

- Run! You can do all the weight training in the world, but nothing burns off that winter weight better than a good 30-45 run at least three times a week. I like to start out doing about 30min and then gradually work up to an hour over the course of a few weeks as I start to get my stamina back. I love to run outside by myself with my headphones and some great music on my iPod and just go! It's my time to be alone with my thoughts, and anything that might be on my mind always seems to be a lot clearer after a good run.
Paige Davis' sexy vacation workout

A few weeks ago I interviewed the TLC Trading Spaces host Paige Davis for my Celebrity Fitzness Report. Paige was open, honest, and hysterical. We blabbed for an hour and Oh Boy! did she fill it all up! One of the standard questions I ask my Celeb Fitzness guests is what their favorite vacation spot is, and whether or not they work out while on vacation. Paige gave me the best response I'd ever had to that question. Read on to find out what it is. Maybe you too, can incorporate her training into your other holiday activities?
**Actual excerpt from Celebrity Fitzness Report.interview with Paige Davis.
Fitz: Where is your favorite place to vacation?
Paige: Vegas. And, I know it's totally gag-me, but I love Disney World too!
