Mischa Barton is Obsessed with Pilates
Mischa Barton is one of those trendy celebs who the tabloids love to watch for any sort of weight gain or loss, with the most recent judgement being that she is absolutely too thin to be healthy. But despite being scary skinny, the star is quick to admit that it's not because she's living on a diet of drugs and alcohol, it's because she's obsessed with exercise -- pilates in particular. "For me, it's all about Pilates recently. I'm obsessed with Pilates. I think it's so fun," she recently admitted. OK, fair enough. Pilates is a great workout -- but from my experiences, it should lead to toned, not bony. Nonetheless, she doesn't want us to worry about her. "I don't do any crash diets," she told "OK" USA, adding "I do more cardio because I work long hours. Jogging, running - stuff like that's really good before you do a film so you have more energy."
Keri Russell Shows a Few Too Many Details
Diet & Weight Loss, Celebs & Entertainment
Once upon a time, Keri Russell was a member of the Mickey Mouse Club. Her upcoming film, Bedtime Stories, is also released by the house of mouse. But the actress has come a long way since she used to don plastic ears. And, frankly, it's a little disturbing. From Felicity to August Rush, there's always been an aura of sweetness to Keri Russell. But the new photos in the upcoming issue of Details magazine show off Keri's not-so-sweet side. In the photos, she looks scary thin ... gaunt even. And the smudgy makeup and bizarre poses (what the heck are you doing to that teddy bear, Keri?) are definitely a new direction. But in the recent photo posted here, she looks thin, but not in such a scary way. It just goes to show how lighting, makeup and retouching of photos can modify appearance.
Keri Russell gave birth to her son, River, in June 2007. At That's Fit, we love to see celebs get their pre-baby bodies back ... especially if they do so healthfully. (Looking great, Amy Poehler!) Just two weeks after the birth of her son Russell looked like she hadn't given birth at all. She credited her weight loss to eating healthfully, exercising and breastfeeding. But has she taken it too far? Is she falling into the too-thin ranks with celebs like Jennifer Connelly and Rachel Zoe?
Rachel Zoe - The Star Stylist is Way Skinny
Diet & Weight Loss, Celebs & Entertainment
Celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe is skinny. Way skinny. Maybe even skinnier than actress Jennifer Connelly. Spotted at a recent fundraiser, the 37-year-old Zoe sported a protruding rib cage that rivals those bony elbows and knees Connelly showcased on Live with Regis and Kelly on Tuesday. No stranger to skinny, the size-0 Zoe has long denied being anorexic. But she admits eating isn't a priority either -- sometimes she's so busy, a cup of coffee and a grapefruit are the only morsels that slip through her lips.
Zoe doesn't see herself as thin. What? Says the fashion girl: "Sometimes I'll look at photos and be like, 'Oh, that's not a good look.' But generally speaking, I'm not too thin." Whatever. Not even Nicole Richie believes that. The shrinking star herself fired Zoe back in 2006 because of the stylist's inability to promote a healthy body image.
Jennifer Connelly - Skin and Bones
Diet & Weight Loss, Celebs & Entertainment

Jennifer is wasting away. And I don't think it's because of any new movie role -- although she does appear with Keanu Reeves in The Day the Earth Stood Still. No, I think her thinness is probably just a sign of the Hollywood times. Skinny is cool. And now she's one of the popular kids.
Really, there is nothing cool about skin and bones. I'm all for a trim, toned, tight look but a too-big head on top of a skeletal frame is downright scary. It made my tummy turn a bit when I saw Jennifer's bony arms and pronounced knees teetering on her just-as-skinny stilettos. I admit: Sometimes, I'm jealous when I see a fit celeb. This time, though, I'm not envious. I'm worried.
