Hot Post-Baby Bodies - How Do Celebrities Really Score Those Things?

Diet & Weight Loss, Celebs & Entertainment

Christina AguileraWe love/hate a good post-baby body celebrity story around here. There's nothing like living vicariously through a hot Hollywood momma who drops her baby weight in record time and struts the red carpet with utter confidence. We can always dream, right?

There's a a bunch of starlets who have recently won their bodies back after giving birth. We've seen these seven do it: Halle Berry, Nicole Kidman, Jessica Alba, Nicole Richie, Gwen Stefani, Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Lopez. WOW, do these gals look good -- no fair!

People magazine wants to know who you think looks best. Visit this site, flip through some photos, and cast your vote if you wish. What we want from you, though, is your vote on another matter. We want to know how you think these ladies lost their extra luggage. Forget what they say. Good genes, running after baby and breastfeeding -- we don't buy it. So you tell us, what's the real deal?

How do celebrities really shed their extra skin?

The Best Chests in Hollywood

Celebrities and Entertainment, Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment

According to People magazine's December 1 issue touting the "Sexiest Man Alive," the guys in this gallery have the best chests in Hollywood. I have to admit, they've done a really great job of choosing the winners in this category. The only one I can think of who may have been wrongfully left out is 50 Cent. But a ton of other hottie bodies were included, so we'll forgive the People folks for that oversight.

Poppy Montgomery Drops 70 Pounds, Says Goodbye to Häagen-Dazs Ice Cream

Diet & Weight Loss, Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment

Poppy Montgomery
Not too long ago, Poppy Montgomery was packing on the pounds -- about 70 of them, within the course of nine months. It was all part of a pregnancy characterized by lots of eating. Yes, the Without a Trace star ate without any guilt while growing baby Jackson in her belly, and she couldn't be happier about all that Häagen-Dazs ice cream she consumed. "I loved every second of gaining that weight," she says, "and I would do it again."

Poppy is still pretty happy. She's got a beautiful baby boy and almost one year after delivering her bundle of joy, she is looking amazingly trim and toned. So trim and toned, in fact, that she is baring her bikini body in People magazine's November 24 issue (page 88, if you're dying to check her out).

Poppy's secret: Recognizing she couldn't keep overindulging and signing up for the meal-delivery service Sunfare just three weeks after giving birth. Restricting her calories to 1,200 a day and working out with the P90X program (our readers say this workout system really works and from the looks of Poppy, I think they're right on), Poppy earned herself wiggle room in her pre-baby size 27 jeans. Now, this is one hot celebrity momma.

Pick Your Sport - These 5 Stars Did

Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment

tennis ball in fall
If you could pick your sport and be good at it too, what would it be? Me? I think I'd choose gymnastics -- I'd love to look like a gymnast, and having such an elite level of fitness wouldn't be bad either. But who really cares what sport I'd pick? Celebrities are much more interesting -- and here are five of them, revealing to the folks at People magazine what sport they'd love to rock.

Even George Clooney gets airbrushed

Celebrities and Entertainment, Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment

Raise your hand if you think George Clooney is sexy just the way he is. Those of you with your hands up (you can put them down now) may be surprised, then, to find out that his promotional pics for the upcoming movie Leatherheads were heavily edited. Even the two-time People magazine Sexiest Man Alive can't escape this trend.

I love my digital camera, but this is the side of digital photography that I don't like. When I look at a beautiful photograph, I wonder to myself, "Is that person a brilliant photographer? Or just really good with Photoshop®?" And when I look at a picture of a celebrity in a magazine, I know that -- especially when the person in question is a woman, or a model -- that I'm looking a person who has been airbrushed into fairy tale status.

It's too bad. George Clooney is a fit, handsome, 46-year-old man. Why can't that be enough?

Nancy O'Dell: Newest celeb mom to slim down

Celebs & Entertainment

I've never been pregnant, and don't plan to be any time soon, but when I do, I hope I can lose the baby weight as easily as some of the celebrity moms out there. Take Access Hollywood's Nancy O'Dell -- She's lost 24 of the 30 pounds she gained when pregnant with daughter Ashby Grace after only nine weeks, according to People Magazine.

O'Dell credits breastfeeding, which she says is 'the best diet.' Not only does it burn a ton of calories, but O'Dell is eating healthfully so as not to pass on any junk to her little daughter. She stays away from milk, cheese, tomatoes and garlic because it upsets her baby's tummy.

Working out is also an important part of the equation. Following advice from friend Lisa Rinna's trainer, she does ballet and dance workouts three times a week.
