Body Break advocates Wii fitness (Video)
I'm sure all you Canadians out there remember the Body Break commercials from the 80s and 90s - you know, the ones starring Hal Johnson and Joanne McLeod, two peppy people who seem to share the same sort of fame as the Canadian Tire guy? If you have no idea what I'm talking about, Body Break was a series of commercials on Canadian TV that promoted health and wellness in kids and adults. And while it's certainly a worthy cause, the neon, bad 80s hair and bubbly theme music made it infamous in Canadian Culture.
Anyway, my point is not to reminisce, but to point out that they're still around. Did you know that? Here they are promoting Wii fitness, perky theme music and all.

Kids aging faster (Video)
Here in Canada, we have this organization called ParticipACTION, whose aim it is to get people of all ages moving. They recently came up with this hilarious commercial, and I had to share.
Thanks, ParticipACTION, for doing your part to get our nation off the couch!
