The Daily Turn On! You created it, you keep it
Life is too short not to be fully "turned on." The Daily Turn On! energizes all aspects of "you." Everyday The Daily Turn On! with That's Fit Life Fit expert Laura Lewis will awaken your mind, your body and your life!Did you know ... You can't change your matter if you don't change your mind. This has always been my motto. And it is true: real change takes place in the mind not the body. Our bodies are the physical manifestation of our minds. If you want to create lasting change, consider keeping a food diary as a reintroduction to yourself. A food diary is one great tool for keeping the new you that you have worked so hard to attain.
Look objectively at what you eat. Look objectively at how you language your dietary descriptions. Remove negative words such as bad and terrible from your assessment, Accept yourself as simply human. Meditate on what it will feel like to be at your goal weight. Don't dwell upon how difficult the process will be. Tell yourself that you deserve to weigh what you want to weigh, and really feel it!
Don't be impatient. Proceed as if you are an objective observer in the process. Include in your food diary and section for "General Feelings." Observe how connected you are emotionally with your eating experience. Do you eat when stressed? Depressed? If so, find other outlets for those negative feelings and try to eat when your stomach wants food, not your heart or mind.
Create it your new you, and keep it!
