For most of us, this week between Christmas and New Year's is simply a continuation of the joyous laziness that makes Christmas one of our favourite holidays. We know in our heart of hearts that we have to stop eating shortbread at every meal, but we're waiting for January 1st to get started. Sound familiar?Take a lesson from Katie Price, aka Jordan, aka Katie Andre. The Katie And Peter star is working on her fitness resolutions before January 1st. She was recently spotted running near her home in Sussex, England, despite the miserably-cold weather outside.
Besides running, Katie's also into horseback riding. Consider this: Two hours of horseback riding can burn around 800 calories. Maybe you should add that to your list of resolutions.

Katie Holmes, refreshed and sporting black, open-toed heels, attended husband Tom Cruise's Lions for Lambs movie premiere on Sunday night -- just after she'd finished running the New York City Marathon.No major recovery was required for Holmes, who finished the race in 5:29:58.
"Isn't she amazing?" said mom Kathy of her 28-year-old daughter. "She's such a good girl. We're so proud." Hubby Tom echoed the sentiment.
"I know, I know. It's amazing."
It is amazing. I am so impressed by those who can finish such a grueling 26.2-mile challenge. Truly impressed.
Way to go, Katie!
Sisters Skinny: Katie and Molly vow to be a size 6

I recently came across a really fun blog about weight loss called Sister Skinny. It's written by two sisters--Katie and Molly--and documents their weight-loss journey as they work towards a common goal: Size 6.
The blog on pretty much anything: iPod playlists, motivation, squats, fast food, parties, scones , the satan machine and so much more. It's pretty well-known that having a diet/workout buddy is a great motivator and also a great way to stay on track, so I think what these sisters have going on is great.
They also keep us up to date with their progress, which is a big motivator for us, the readers. Also: progress photos! These girls are brave ... and funny.
