Heidi Klum Hits The Runway After Baby

The plan was for Klum to just host the show. "You definitely have less pressure hosting, when you don't shake your booty in front of millions of people around the world," she told People Magazine earlier this week. But those plans changed when the 36-year-old mother of four wowed the crowd in a surprise walk down the runway.
Looking sexier than ever, Klum was all smiles as she sported a low-cut corset and full skirt. "I'm definitely one of the heaviest of the bunch of the 30 girls in the show. And I still have 20 pounds to go," she said, but the screaming audience didn't seem to mind -- or even notice.
The former Victoria Secret's model and current "Project Runway" host reportedly gained 45 pounds with this pregnancy, but has been working with a trainer at her home in L.A. to regain her famous figure. Her workouts include walking and some moves with a medicine ball, yet she's careful not to overdo it and she's not stressing over her post-baby figure. "I embrace that I have more curves right now."
With a full schedule that includes cooking meals for a family of six including singer-husband, Seal, Klum admits she has little time to relax these days. But that doesn't seem to stop this supermodel turned supermom from looking hotter than ever!

Heidi Klum Isn't Afraid to Bare It All
Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment

Of course, having a body like Klum's certainly helps with confidence. And Klum doesn't come across her great figure without effort. "You have to work out to be sexy," says Klum. "People always ask me how I stay in shape," continues Klum. "What really makes me do it is because I have a hot man waiting at home for me."
Motivation certainly is important for exercise. While the rest of us may not have Seal waiting at home, we all need motivation, too. What inspires you to exercise?

Victoria's Secret Angels Actually Eat!
Diet & Weight Loss, Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment

The Victoria's Secret Angels took to the runway again last weekend, and, as always, the models looked completely perfect. The things that were supposed to be firm were firm, and the areas that needed to be full were full. So how do they get that way (other than fabulous genes)? E! was backstage to steal the Angels' secrets.
For one thing, they eat. However, as you no doubt guessed, they're pretty careful about what they munch on. Model Miranda Kerr munched on mixed greens and scrambled eggs backstage before the show, while Alessandria Ambrosia, who just gave birth two months ago, dished on how she got her body back post-baby. "I was doing 45 minutes of cardio everyday and working out with a trainer. I couldn't have the crazy diets ... because I was breastfeeding."
Adriana Lima also followed a strict training schedule for the month leading up to the runway show, working out two hours a day and cutting out carbs and sugar while loading up on protein. She was looking forward to the show being over, though, saying she would indulge in dessert right away. "... [F]orget about champagne. The first thing I will have is chocolate cake!"
We Love To Gawk At Fit Celebs Weekly Round-Up: August 8, 2008
We Love To Gawk At Fit Celebs Weekly Roundup, Celebs & Entertainment
Some of us have trouble coughing up the dough for a gym membership or a session with a personal trainer, but that's not a problem for the rich and famous. Britney Spears reportedly spent an exorbitant amount to get her body back in shape. But, it seems to have worked ...Ugly Betty's Becki Newton always looks flawless on the red carpet, favoring sleeveless gowns (doesn't everybody?). We've got her favorite trick for getting her arms red carpet-ready right here.
Eva Mendes was the star of a too-hot-for-TV ad for Calvin Klein's latest fragrance, Secret Obsession, and she shows a lot of skin. She made some changes to get her body ready to bare, and they're changes we could all make even if we don't have any plans to get naked.
We Love To Gawk At Fit Celebs: Heidi Klum drinks her vitamins
We Love To Gawk At Fit Celebs, Diet & Weight Loss, Celebs & Entertainment, Nutrition & Supplements
In an ideal world, we'd all eat perfectly and we'd always get all the vitamins we need. However, that's not always possible, especially for the super-busy Heidi Klum. Still, she makes sure she gets her vitamins. Or, rather, her trainer makes sure she does.Klum works out with David Kirsch, who also trains celebs like Naomi Campbell and Anne Hathaway, and he ships her cases of his Super Juice packets, which, when added to water, add just 30 calories but provide your daily vitamins. He also provides his clients with Thermo Bubbles, which is supposed to boost energy and metabolism.
How about you? Do you rely on supplements to get what your body needs, or do you get it all through your food?
Kids keep Klum in tip-top shape
Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment
Model extraordinaire and Project Runway pioneer Heidi Klum reveals her stay-slim secret in May's Good Housekeeping magazine. She doesn't whisper anything about strict diets and hard-core workouts, though. Nope. It's all about her kids.Klum's three children -- ages four, two, and one -- keep her busy all the time, says this beauty who reports that staying active with her little ones is how she stays in such good shape. I'm not sure that's all it takes -- I'm a mom too and simply moving with my boys just isn't enough -- but apparently it's one piece of the puzzle for this Supermom who says working in the garden, jumping on the trampoline, climbing trees, and feeding ducks in the park top her activity list.

We love to gawk at fit celebs weekly roundup: Cheers or jeers?
We Love To Gawk At Fit Celebs Weekly Roundup
In the world of celebrity fitness, there's a few gems and a whole lot of stuff that's just plain funny. Let's take a gander at the lifestyles of the rich and famous and see what we love, and what just makes us fall down on the floor in hysterical laughter. My dreamboat Gabrielle Reece is on the cover of Pregnancy magazine, because of course she still exercises and stays healthy while she's with child. Known for her straight-shooting fitness advice and Amazonian awesomeness, she's proof you can be hot and pregnant at the same time. Actually, if you check out the pics of her exercises on FitSugar, you'll realize Gabby would probably look hot taking out the garbage with her hair in curlers. Just sayin'. Solid cheers for her, and I won't hear anything otherwise.
Speaking of pregnancy, Trish Sutter, formerly of the Bachelor, wants to lose the last 10 pounds of her pregnancy weight--she's 5'2" and now weighs 116. Ah, body image in La-la land. Us magazine reports on her hatred of her belly, three months postpartum. (Cough.) We'd like to remind her that it's okay to take your time, that many ladies (hi!) hold the baby weight for a while. Jeers, not so much for the weight thing, but because Trish reports, "My friend said that when I came home from the hospital, I'd be back in my old jeans." Honey, anyone who feeds you that lie is NOT your friend.
Of course Us also has the diet and exercise plans for your weight loss, straight from the trainers to the stars. I'm sure you'll be able to follow their exact regimen and program without the benefit of a trainer and personal chef. Yeah. Anyhow, the very best bit comes from Valerie Waters, trainer to Jennifer Garner. Her exercises use a tool she created called, "The Valslide ®." Don't have one handy? Well, "You can duplicate the motion at home using a paper plate on carpet or a towel on hardwood floor." Hold on, I'll get the paper plate out as soon as I stop laughing. Jeers.
Hey, your workouts could result in a happy marriage. At least it worked for Seal and Heidi Klum. Heidi told Oprah she first spotted Seal coming out of the gym wearing bike shorts. So, did his rock-hard physique win her over? Um, I think it was more that the shorts reveal so much about a man. Ahem. I think this is cheers, just because at least he was working out, and at least she was honest about what drew her to him.
The last one comes from the In Style celebrity gallery. Celebs were asked, "What is sexy?" and boy, are there some really hilariously stupid answers. Although it's not a great question either. It'd be all jeers, except Joy Bryant listed her chocolate cake as sexy, and since most famous folks don't even remember what dessert tastes like, we'll give her big cheers for that.
Playing with the kids helped Heidi Klum lose the baby weight
According to our sister site, ParentDish, gorgeous Heidi Klum is the newest face of the Jordache jeans campaign and she looks smokin' hot, despite having to lose the baby weight after giving birth to three kids. She looks amazing and I'm sure she has many mothers scratching their heads and wondering, "Just how did she do it ... ?"Klum is insisting that it's all down to her busy lifestyle -- when she's not run off her feet with work, she's busy playing with the kids. In her own words:
"I have three children. That keeps you busy all the time. I work and we do a lot of things that are active. We work in the garden. We jump on the trampoline. I just started playing tennis with my husband. We climb in the tree house with the children. We go to the park and feed the ducks. We are always mobile."
What do you think? Is her perfect figure down to jumping on the trampoline and feeding ducks, or is there something she's not fessing up to, like having a big team of personal trainers and chefs to rely on?
