Cameron Mathison handing out hugs?
Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment
Cameron Mathison just might be handing out hugs in a couple of weeks, and you might be able to score one ... if you're in the right place. The gorgeous All My Children and former Dancing with the Stars star took some time this week to chat with me for a future Celebrity Fitzness Report feature.
Cameron is not only totally buff, he's totally sweet too. Loves to talk fitness and boy, does he ever do it right! On to the hugging part, though. On November 15th, Cameron will be in Orlando, Florida to headline ABC SoapNet Super Soap Star weekend at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. This event truly allows fans to get up close and personal with their favorite soap stars ... and Cameron will be one of them.
Since I'm always looking out for you (who loves you baby?), I asked Cameron (on your behalf of course) if we could expect him to be handing out hugs and kisses to his fans. After reassuring me that he always acts "appropriately" in order to respect his wife ... sure! He definitely gives his finest fans deserving hugs when possible.

Curious to know how celebrities squeeze fitness into their daily lives? Want to know the secrets of the stars? Bi-weekly our That's Fit fitness expert Fitz sits down with the celebs we want to know more about, and digs out their great and not-so-great methods to staying healthy.
My guest this week became famous as one of the hot, yet capable babes of Charlie's Angels. This role that burned Cheryl Ladd's name and face into our minds forever, in my opinion, will not in the end, be what we remember her for. We spoke recently both over the phone and in person, and she definitely showed a side of her I hadn't expected to see.
Although stunningly beautiful, and more capable of turning heads at age 57 than most women are at 25 ... Cheryl's most impressive quality in my book is her willingness to take care of other women. She's investing a lot of time in guiding and educating other Baby Boomer women about menopause. Menopause is often a taboo, hush hush topic. But Cheryl has embraced her age and stepped up to the plate to help make her personal experience with menopause an educational experience for others. She shared a bunch of private experiences with me and offered advice for growing more beautiful each year. Read on to learn how to age as gracefully and gorgeously as she has.
Fitz: You're an iconic figure in beauty. You've aged flawlessly, and to me ... you're prettier today than you were 30 years ago starring in Charlie's Angels. What can we do, to be more like you?
Cheryl: First of all, I think it's most important for women to have a close relationship with their doctor. It's important to trust your doctor, so when things go weird you are comfortable addressing the situation and taking care of things. Be proactive with your health! You also have to love yourself! Beauty comes from the inside first.
Fitz: Well your outside is pretty fantastic too. Let's start with your fitness routine. What do you do to stay in such great shape?

This week I went back to talk with one of my favorite past guests, Mr. Colin Egglesfield. (To view Colin's in-depth interview click here.) Spring is here, summer is coming and this All My Children star has the most perfectly fit body one could wish for. We all want to know how celebrities earn their great bodies, and Colin was sweet enough to share his tips for preparing for swimsuit season. These tips are exactly as our favorite Calvin Klein underwear model gave them to me. So play close attention, follow his advice, and prepare to strut your stuff this summer!
- Run! You can do all the weight training in the world, but nothing burns off that winter weight better than a good 30-45 run at least three times a week. I like to start out doing about 30min and then gradually work up to an hour over the course of a few weeks as I start to get my stamina back. I love to run outside by myself with my headphones and some great music on my iPod and just go! It's my time to be alone with my thoughts, and anything that might be on my mind always seems to be a lot clearer after a good run.

Anthony Field of The Wiggles was not someone I'd imagine would change my own personal level of fitness. He's a Wiggle. In fact, all of my personal training clients half-lovingly refer to him as "Damn Wiggle". Why? Because ever since I met the hot looking boy in blue, they've all been stuck doing lots and lots of pull-ups. They're all infinitely stronger with way better abs as well. I too, am fierce on the bar. Thanks Anthony!
And just FYI. Before Anthony began training like this he was a bunch heavier. Still handsome, but there was certainly much more of him. The part 2 video I'll be posting next week will simply make you drool. The boy looks wicked in his tight Under Armour shirt. Want to look that hot too? Take a looksy at this!

How often do you exercise? I'm now aiming for five times a week. Just getting back after several set backs health-wise.
What type of exercise do you do? Kickboxing, running and some weights.
What gets you to workout, even when you're feeling lazy? The thought of you Fitz. Knowing that I've let you down by not doing what I should be. I'm also encouraged by my husband who is trying hard to support me.
Tips on looking great even when it's hot out
While the gorgeous summer weather took a turn for the worse where I live today (cool and rainy after a month of solid sunshine), until now it has been hot, hot, hot and I know it will heat up again pretty quick. On super warm and humid days, it can be really tough to look good.
You can do your best to stay pretty sitting on a patio, out at a music festival or whatever fun outdoor locale or event you may wind up at, but often no matter how much time you spend beautifying indoors beforehand, once you head out the door your hair frizzes, you sweat though your clothes and your make-up melts. Not a pretty picture.
If you want to look your best all summer long, try out some of the products listed here. They include a leave-in conditioner to tame pouffey, out-of-control curls, lotion and blotting tissue for overly-oily skin, peppermint foot spray for sweaty, stinky feet and eye make-up that won't run down your face. Just because it's hot out doesn't mean you can't look cool.
