Queen LatifahQueen Latifah has decided to stay on as spokesperson for Jenny Craig, and it's a good thing, because the star is looking to get her post-holiday butt back in gear. What better way than to embrace the weight-loss program that helped her shed a few in the first place.

"I'm glad I re-signed [with Jenny Craig] because I had a little fun over the holidays, as most people do," says the host of Wednesday night's People Choice Awards.

Apparently, the 38-year-old indulged in everything while in Trinidad recently. "It wasn't that I wasn't eating healthy stuff," she explains. "It was just a lot of it. There's always a beach barbeque." Time for some regular workouts and swimming, she says adding, "I will knock this weight back down. I know it."

Is Katie Holmes Trying to Lose Weight? With A Scientology Detox?

I'm guessing I'm not the only one who's furiously trying to shed the couple of extra egg nog pounds that ended up padding my hips over the holiday season. Heck, even super-slim Katie Holmes is trying to shed some pounds. She was recently spotted in NYC with a diet drink called Celsius, which promises to burn extra calories with its 'thermogenic blend'. I'm guessing the petite starlet is burning tons of calories already with her crazy schedule, which includes performing on Broadway six nights a week, playing mommy to Suri and spending an estimated $14 million on a bunch of crazy shopping sprees in the big apple.

That's not all -- once production of All My Sons wraps, the taller half of TomKat is supposedly going on an intense Scientology detox. "The Clear Body, Clear Mind plan utilises a regime of exercise, sauna sweat-out, vitamins and minerals to cleanse bodies of toxins," says a source. "Katie is tired from balancing motherhood with her six-nights-a-week show and wants to get back into shape. The plan involves doses of the vitamin niacin to purify the body."

Spending day in the sauna sounds like my kind of detox! Pity about the exercise bit.

Britney Spears - Giving Up Her Hot Bod for Junk Food?

She's shed 28 pounds over the past few months, but will she keep it off? That is the question, at least as far as Britney Spears is concerned. The pop diva made an amazing comeback in 2008 -- with her career, personal life and stellar body -- but now sources close to the star are apparently worried she's about to lose her fit figure because she's addicted to junk food.

"Britney's been eating burgers and chips for lunch in complete defiance of the strict eating plan worked out for her," says the source, adding, "It's as if she's trying to defy her father and bosses, and break out of the controlled environment by turning away from the healthy lifestyle they've put in place."

Brit, sweetie, don't do it. Remember the VMA awards? That was pretty bad. You don't need to be super skinny, but at least try to be healthy. (Ditto for the 11 stars featured in the gallery below.)

Jack Black Eats Two Breakfasts

Rotund funnyman Jack Black recently admitted to reporters that he eats two breakfasts a day -- no wonder he was told he's too big for Bergdorf Goodman! But don't be too quick to assume that he's filling up on bacon and eggs. His breakfast choices sounds kind of healthy: "My new thing is that I have oatmeal and ice green tea for breakfast," he says. "Then I have a second breakfast! I try to eat foods that give me energy to try to make it through the day."

Still, he adds that losing a few pounds isn't easy: "I try and work out but it's a losing battle with the fine food and good red wine that is available." As for fitness? "I do some special stretches, sit-ups and sometimes even some push-ups. But I think a good walk down the street is great workout."

Well, it's a start, I guess. But maybe Jack needs to add a few of these morning moves to his routine to help matters along.
