Guy Ritchie lost more than weight on the cookie diet
Diet & Weight Loss, Celebs & Entertainment
Madonna recently revealed that her husband, Guy Ritchie, used the cookie diet to lose weight. On the 800-calorie-per-day cookie diet, a person can eat one meal a day and up to six nutritional cookies. She didn't really appreciate the diet, however. Though Guy lost weight, apparently, he also lost his libido. Madonna said, "My husband went on that cookie diet and it was such a turn-off because he didn't want to have sex." Not exactly an endorsement for the weight loss product, I'd say.
Though Ritchie, as well as fellow celebs Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson, lost weight on the cookie diet, its 800-calorie per day regimen is far too restrictive to be healthy. To learn some weight loss tricks that are healthy, check out AOL Body's diet page.
Mario Lopez flexes his musical (and manly) muscles on Broadway
Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment
Mario Lopez showed the world he could do a little dancing on Dancing With the Stars, but who expected this? Our beloved former A.C. Slater has taken his act to Broadway, joining the cast of A Chorus Line!Mario will be playing Zach (no, not a nod to his former Saved By The Bell BFF, Zack Morris), a demanding director in charge of casting the chorus roles for a new musical on Broadway. He debuts this Tuesday, so you'd better get your tickets fast -- if these promo pictures are any indication, this is going to be one hot show!
Or, at the very least, Mario will be looking hot, and that's enough for some of us. I'd have to say Broadway agrees with him. Wouldn't you? Check out the gallery for proof!
Maria Shriver's medical records leaked
I imagine having medical information, heck any kind of information, about a celebrity at your fingertips has to be tempting. But when an employee at UCLA Medical Center couldn't fight her nosiness any longer and improperly accessed that information, she crossed a line. She was fired for the breech, but 31 celebrities, politicians, and other famous people are left wondering what she knows and what she's planning on doing with it.
The woman managed to view Maria Shriver's records as well as Farrah Fawcett's. Fawcett is fighting cancer and shortly after the breech, information about her reached the tabloids, though officials say there's no evidence the woman sold any of the information she found. Though Fawcett knew her records had been accessed in 2007, the rest of the names have just recently become public.
It makes me wonder if she was hatching a money-making scheme or if she just couldn't contain her curiosity. Either way, she's now out of a job.
