Yoga moves just for Sarah Palin (video)
Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment
Whether you agree with her politics or not, it's hard not to know what Sarah Palin is up to these days. Between election headlines, bloggers' coverage, and Tina Fey's amazing impressions of her, it seems like she's making headlines one way or the other. One hot Palin topic is what the woman does to stay fit. She runs. "Running is my sanity" says the 44-year-old. Good for her. When you're in a stressful position, which the Republican VP nominee is definitely in right now, exercise can help you keep that stress in check. Sarah's regular runs likely help her body deal with her new, hectic schedule and her life in the Election 2008 fast lane.
But what about yoga? Yoga not only tones and strengthens muscles, it can also lower blood pressure and help a person focus. Do you think Sarah Palin would try yoga? Tara Stiles, YouTube yoga pro, has created a routine she thinks is perfect for Sarah. It includes Warrior pose, perfect for "mavericks," bow and arrow pose, for Sarah's love of hunting wild game, and a headstand, for clarity before important interviews.
I'm not going to lie. This video is pretty funny, especially if you love yoga and adore dishing about political figures. But it's probably not for people who adore Sarah Palin. If that's you, check out one of Tara's many other videos on yoga.
Barack Obama on the cover of Men's Health
Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment

It's got to be difficult to exercise and eat right when you're busy campaigning across the country, there's no doubt about that. But maintaining a healthy diet and workout routine is a great way to relieve stress. And with only a little more than a month left until Election Day, I'm guessing stress is a pretty big part of Obama's daily life.
I'm curious to see what direction Men's Health steers their interview. Will they ask him about his personal fitness routine? How he'd maintain that routine if he's elected President? Or will the focus on the broader issue of health care for all Americans? We'll just have to wait and see until the issue comes out.
If you could ask Barack Obama or John McCain a diet or fitness related question, what would it be?
Election 2008: Should we be allowed to look at candidate's health records?
Diet & Weight Loss, Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment
Did you know that former President Grover Cleveland once had jaw surgery aboard his yacht to keep his cancer diagnosis secret? In today's world of tell-all press, it's hard to imagine a president getting away with such a thing. Still, during this year's exciting election campaign, a candidate's health issue that could lead voters to turn to vote for someone else is more likely to be swept under the rug than shared with the public. Some people are asking -- do we, the public, have a right to know what's inside a candidate's medical records? Though it's routine for candidates to reveal their records voluntarily, some are saying that candidates should be required to undergo a full and thorough physical by a non-biased medical professional, and that the results should be made available to voters.
Because presidential candidates are still citizens, letting the Average Joe dig through personal information is obviously a privacy issue. What do you think -- should candidates bare all in order to be elected, or should their health information be kept private like everyone else?
