Debra Messing is a big ol' complainer. She hates to exercise, and she doesn't care who knows it. But, with a job like hers, it's not really something she can skip. How does this Reno 911! star keep in such svelte shape when her kids are keeping her busy and away from the gym? She has some special equipment that she uses in front of the TV, and you'll be surprised at what it is.
Have you given much thought to Sandra Bullock's butt? We're thinking about it, and we can tell you how to get it.
Did Courtney Love have gastric bypass?
During the past decade or so, rock widow and star in her own right Courtney Love went from heroine chic to healthy size and back down to borderline emaciated. She says it's all due to healthy eating and inspiration from Oprah. But new reports are claiming that the first lady of 90s grunge isn't being quite honest -- because gastric bypass surgery is the real reason behind her dramatic weight loss. Says a source: "Courtney keeps laughing to her friends and saying, 'Everyone thinks I've had hypnosis but why bother with all that effort? All I did was check myself in and have a fat band fitted' ... Lots of doctors refused to do it as she was nowhere near obese, just a little overweight, but eventually she found one."

Weight loss according to Courtney Love
Before there was Britney, Nicole and Lindsay, there was Courtney Love, Hollywood's original train wreck. In the past little while, she's gone from happily plump to heroin thin. In fact, if you believe the photo in this article, she's looking thinner now than she did when she was actually on heroin. Now that's scary. Courtney has opened up about how she went from 182 to 139 in the past few months. Discipline is the key, she claims, and she says, "Some people think it's about weight loss, but it's about detoxing." She does colonics and fasts often, and as for meals, she relies on 2 meal replacement shakes a day and a macrobiotic diet. Furthermore, she criticizes other stars who claim to eat only fish and broccoli as "bulimic liars."
I don't really know what to say beyond .... Yikes! She may be disciplined but I don't exactly think she is the poster child for healthy weight loss. Do you?
Courtney Love says macrobiotic food made her fat
Celebs & Entertainment, Nutrition & Supplements
Courtney Love has recently lost a lot of weight -- which has all the tabloids guessing about how the pounds came off. She claims they came off just like you'd expect -- because she more or less quit eating, and started exercising like crazy.
Love blames the dramatic weight gain that proceeded her hardcore diet on an unexpected culprit: macrobiotic food. According to the former pop star, she "gained 40 to 50 pounds on macrobiotic food," thanks to a diet crafted by the same chef that cooks for Gwyneth's Paltrow (who, you may have noticed, never gains weight...ever).
Most people actually lose weight once they switch to a macrobiotic diet, although, because the macrobiotic approach is based on a principal of balance, people who are underweight may actually put on some additional pounds when starting out.
However, Love wasn't exactly underweight before, so, chances are, there was some other cause for her weight gain that had nothing to do with the macrobiotic food her chef was preparing. My guess? Lots and lots of alcohol.
Courtney Love forced to quit smoking
Diet & Weight Loss, Celebs & Entertainment
Everyone, no matter how rich, or how famous, is affected by smoking. The most recent public figure to fall prey to a smoking-related illness is Courtney Love. The singer was recently ordered by her doctor to quit, after he discovered pre-op nodules in her throat.
In a message on her Web site, Loves writes that the doctor "guessed exactly how much I smoke," and that "I need to stop unless ... I want surgery in a year."
Her choices were either quit now, or take time off from touring to undergo the procedure.
Fortunately for Love, nodules are a benign growth on the vocal cords. However, cigarettes are the primary cause of throat cancer, which would almost certainly be the end of her singing career -- if not her life.
