This is your last chance during America Takes It Off: Shrink a Size to fess up and tell us what you see when you step on the scale and it stares back at you. That's right. Our final weigh-in starts today. You've got until noon tomorrow (Thursday, January 29) to tell us what you've lost. We know you've been whittling away at that extra weight. You've lost a combined 214 pounds already. Only 36 to go to reach that 250-pound goal. Did you do it? You tell us.

Were you inspired by Kim Benson's simple strategies for shrinking a few sizes? We told you on Monday about the author's sensational slim-down (from 6X to size 6) and suggested you practice a few of her weight-loss secrets -- find a diet program that fits, get rid of red-light foods, fill up on green-light ones, be wary of "safe" foods and research restaurant meals.So, how did it go? Let's find out -- go step on the scale right now. We're already at a combined 146 pounds lost. In order to reach our goal of 250, we only have 104 to go. Can't wait to how the scale tips this week.

Have you been flattening your abs since we challenged you on Monday to embrace a few belly-busting tips? Have you been eating your raspberries, drinking your water (but not much alcohol), sitting up straight, planting your garden, hula-hooping your heart out, golfing and crunching too? Now, we didn't expect you'd master all of these tasks. We just wanted you to implement one or two or, I don't know, five. We hope you did. And we hope you lost a few this week too. On Monday, we issued our very first America Takes It Off challenge after reviewing what really matters for weight loss. We encouraged you to portion your plates. Remember? One quarter filled with a lean protein, one quarter filled with a healthy carbohydrate and the other half filled with fruits and veggies. We motivated you to forget fat-free and go fat-healthy. Did you eat good fats, like those found in nuts, olive oil and avocados? And we suggested you move throughout your day for some good calorie-burn.
