I'm running in a two-mile race tomorrow. It's called the Gator Gallop, and it's the kick-off event for the University of Florida Homecoming parade. Prior to today, I thought I was all set for this mini-challenge. I have my new running shoes all broken in, my shin splints are under control, and I know I can master a two-mile trek.
