Victoria Beckham Shapes Up for Lingerie Shoot
For a woman, the prospect of being photographed in your undies for the world to see elicits only one feeling: overwhelming, all-encompassing dread. Sure, most of us have good reason to be afraid -- extra flab, an unflattering stomach paunch and a lumpy bottom dimpled with cellulite is, in our minds, enough to scare the bejesus out of the general population.
But even stick-thin celebs like Victoria Beckham get anxious about having their near-naked bodies captured on film, apparently. According to recent reports, the fashionista ran nine miles a day for six months in order to look her absolute best for her recent Giorgio Armani Lingerie shoot. A source close to the star says, "Like any woman, she's conscious of her body, so she worked really hard to get into optimum shape."
Even so, her hard work wasn't enough to keep the images from being photoshopped. Which leaves me wondering -- if you have to re-rouch images of a teeny, tiny woman like that, what does that say for the rest of us?
Victoria Beckham - Pasta is her Poison
Considered one of Hollywood's scary skinny elite, Victoria Beckham doesn't seem to have any trouble keeping the pounds off. Is it because she avoids carbs? The fashionista did admit that she doesn't eat Italy's national dish -- which is unfortunate seeing as she's moving to Milan this year. Nope, that's not it at all -- she physically can't eat it, according to FemaleFirst.co.uk. "It's not that I avoid carbs, I'm allergic to pasta. It's like my kryptonite. I feel like I can't digest it properly and it makes me feel ill," she says.
Pasta is my kryptonite too. I have this unfortunate condition in which I eat tons of it because I love it, and then my hips get wider and I can't fit into my jeans. Oh, wait. That's not really an allergy I guess.
What's your kryptonite?

Victoria Beckham, marathon mama?
Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment
Is Victoria Beckham planning to run the New York City marathon this weekend? We know Posh has taken up running, but reports are coming out that she's actually been training for months in secret (just like her best gal pal, Katie Holmes did last year) and intends to run the race if she's ready. If she's not, she'll put it off until next February and take part in the Los Angeles marathon instead. There's no doubt she's got some strong legs -- have you seen the insane high heels that woman wears? She walks in them as easily as I walk in my Chuck Taylors. But really? A marathon for Victoria Beckham, who once proclaimed she didn't work out because she didn't like wearing anything but heels?
If she participates, she certainly won't be the first celeb to become a marathoner. Check out the gallery for a few famous faces who've completed 26.2 miles.

Gwyneth Paltrow not only eats healthfully and exercises -- she even does her own cooking! She might not be making the lightest, most low-fat foods, but it sounds like she really enjoys it.
Comedienne Margaret Cho has finally found the right diet for her, but it's not really a diet! She's sharing her slim-down secrets, and you might be surprised at how simple it sounds.

Victoria Beckham is not exactly known for her healthy habits. It was well-known that she kept her infamously skinny figure by eating as little as possible, and the only working out she did involved shopping in enormous heels (which, I will say takes some major calf and ankle strength). Now, though, she's made some major changes."I run four miles, seven days a week. I feel energized and healthy," Posh explained, adding that the self-discipline helps her think clearly and get to work in the morning. She's gotten some help from her uber-fit hubby, too: "David puts music on my iPod and Gordon Ramsay bought me trainers where you have a little chip so you can clock how far you're running."
Victoria also says she's eating more, and is pretty happy about it. "I think you do eat more when you're working out. And you want to eat healthily, so it's good all round."
Posh says diet pill story completely untrue
Diet & Weight Loss, Celebs & Entertainment
I'm curious about how Victoria Beckham stays so skinny. I'm not alone. The media has long speculated about how Posh maintains her rail thin body. Well, it's not from diet pills, says the superstar, who will sue the U.K. magazine NOW over an article claiming she's hooked on them (and sex too).Says the Brit's agent: "The accusation is dangerous, defamatory and blatantly untrue. Victoria takes her position as a role model to young women very seriously and is horrified by this hurtful, fabricated story. It is now with her lawyers."
Now's story claimed that the former Spice Girl's sister has been getting the pills for her in Britain and then shipping them to the U.S.

Alicia Keys is super excited to see the sun for the same reasons we are -- she loves getting active outdoors. When the musician isn't camped out behind her piano or deep in thought writing a new hit, she says, "I like to do outdoorsy things. Hikes, trails, running, swimming. I love the sun. I'm all about the warmth."Mariska Hargitay put down the Pringles and chocolate and found something new and healthier to crave -- tropical fruit.
Britney Spears is rumored to be trying a new diet to slim down -- the Victoria Beckham diet, which starts the day with water and lemon. Mmmm, satisfying.

It's no secret how Victoria Beckham stays so very thin -- the girl doesn't eat much. It's not through physical activity seeing as how she hates wearing any sort of flat shoe. Not exactly a healthy role model for weight loss, but unfortunately Britney Spears seems to have picked up on some of the ways Posh stays slim and is trying to follow that diet.According to the Daily Mail, a source in L.A. says, "She's been eating steamed fish and edemame beans. She was told that's how Victoria stays so slim." Doesn't sound so bad, right? Just wait -- it gets worse.
"She is also drinking goji berry juice and seaweed shakes to stave off hunger and starts each day with a cup of hot water and lemon." I hope Britney and her trainers realize that Posh may be slim, but she's not healthy -- I'm happy to see Britney hitting the gym, and if she keeps that up and eats healthfully, she should be in great shape before you know it. No need to resort to seaweed shakes (unless she likes them, but I think it sounds gross!).
Most improved Spice Girl?
The Spice Girls are back -- excited yet? No? I'll admit, I never was a fan of them the first time around, and I doubt that I'll be too into their music this time either but I do love gawking at them in the weekly gossip rags when I'm on the treadmill at the gym. The most recent one I read featured an article on the Spice Girls and wondered which one has the hottest body. Think about it -- Four of them have had kids, one of them participated in Dancing with the Stars and all of them seemed to have dropped off the face of the earth until now. Well, except for Posh. Take a look at the gallery below and let us know which Spice Girl you think worked the hardest to look great for the reunion tour. My vote goes to Geri for most improved body ... and Mel B for most improved style. Your pick?
Lily Allen: Happy to be a size 8?
Controversial British musician Lily Allen has lashed out at super-slim celebs like Victoria Beckham for making her look like 'Fat Lily Allen', according to this article. She says, "I'm a size 10 (American size 8) with a size 8 top (American size 6) and made to feel fat next to someone like Kate Moss. What makes me angry is I let it happen. I'm not super-skinny, so in 'Fameland' I'm fat. It's now my ambition to get all those skinny-arsed b*****s off the covers of magazines and get normal people on them."I think Allen's got the right idea -- Size 8 is not big and it's better to at least try and change the system rather than putting your own health at risk by conforming to it.
However, according to the Skinny Website, Allen isn't quite as confident with her size as she lets on. She apparently has caved to pressure and lost some weight. I hope she doesn't slim down too much -- the world needs more size-8 + cover girls. What do you think?
Posh hates the gym too
She may be svelte but it's not from busting her butt on the treadmill -- Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, has opened up about her disdain for the gym in a recent article for UK's Mirror tabloid. Amidst lots of talk about her designer life and her fabulous friends, she had this to say about her workout MO:"I really don't like the gym, in fact I can't stand it ... Maybe it's the whole getting sweaty thing, but it's just not me. I tried cycling in Spain but maybe my bum's too small as it just wasn't comfortable ... I want to get fit, though, so I'm exploring some different options. I like what I've heard about Pilates - just sitting in a room, stretching and breathing. Sounds much more civilised."
I guess living on a diet of Strawberries and edamamme is what keeps her slim, and such a diet wouldn't leave her with much energy for the treadmill anyway. Still, I'll direct my admiration at more healthy role models like Gabby Reece.Scary Spice: Victoris Beckham's cellulite shots
Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment
Check out these photos of Victoria Beckham (or, more specifically, Victoria Beckham's cellulite) and let me know what you think. Are those really her legs? Can she have that much cellulite and be as skinny as she is? Victoria's friends say she doesn't exercise at all--instead she keeps slim by eating next to nothing--so she might be missing all-important muscle mass. But really, those legs look like they belong to a 90-year-old.
Posh puts the Spice Girls on a diet
All I can say is ... eww! I have never been a fan of the Spice Girls and I'm even less likely to pay attention to them if they all look like Victoria Beckham. I once heard her described as looking like a 'fly on hind legs' and I have to say, I couldn't agree more.
What's your take on the Spice Girls' diet/reunion?
