Taylor Lautner - Twilight Star Bulking Up for Sequel
Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment

Lautner's role in the second film wasn't a sure thing. His character, Jacob, a werewolf, grows a foot taller and looks 25 years old in the next movie. That's not an easy feat for a 16-year-old actor. To stay true to the role, Lautner has been working out for the past eight or nine months. He's packed on 26 pounds of muscle.
Lautner says, "I'm literally in the gym every single day for at least two hours a day." In addition, Lautner is eating as much as he can but he does try to keep it lean. It sounds pretty rigorous, but Lautner's no novice when it comes to fitness. Before acting, Lautner was active in competitve martial arts. Check out these early photos of Lautner from his martial arts days.
Kilts - Guys, Do You Have The Calves To Sport a Skirt?
Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment
Kilts aren't exactly a mainstream clothing choice nowadays. But, Twilight's Cam Gigandet was recently spotted wearing a kilt and, frankly, I think he looks pretty hot. I'm not alone in thinking that, either. Most of the comments People readers left at this site are positive, too. But to sport a kilt, a guy has got to have some pretty rocking calf muscles ... not to mention guts. Designer Marc Jacobs says that wearing kilts makes him happy and that he "just can't stop wearing them." And just think of the movie, Braveheart -- if anyone can look hot in a kilt, it's Mel Gibson.

Why Rob Pattinson's Shirtless Twilight Scenes Got Scrapped
We Love To Gawk At Fit Celebs, Diet & Weight Loss, Fitness

When Rob Pattinson (who also played Cedric Diggory in the fourth "Harry Potter" film) was cast as a super sexy vampire in the film version of the hit "Twilight" book series, he decided to get serious about his level of fitness (perhaps taking a cue from his villainous co-star?).

He cut out all alcohol and a lot of his meals, hoping to rid his body of "every ounce of body fat." He kickboxed three hours a day and ran for at least two hours a day for more than two months, saying that he hoped, "... when I took off my shirt, I would look like an alien. I thought that kind of worked for the story. The idea of taking my shirt off and looking like some sort of Adonis ..."
But, it didn't work for the director -- Pattinson lost so much weight that the shirtless scenes were cut. It didn't seem to bother him too much, though. Once he knew the shirtless scenes were out, he went about putting some of that weight back on by starting "a full cheeseburger diet."
Twilight Star Loves a Tough Workout
Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment
It's not just a tough workout Twilight villain Cam Gigandet loves -- it's pain that might be the key to his heart.Cam -- you may know him from stints on both The Young and the Restless and The O.C. -- is accustomed to pushing through pain. Tough workouts, career bumps (he was fired from his soap opera gig), and waterskiing accidents are all par for his course. "I love pain," says the 26-year-old, whose upcoming movie opens November 21.
