Study: silicone breast implants don't harm health
New U.S.-based research states that silicone breast implants really don't increase the risk of various cancers of tissue diseases, contrary to beliefs that leaking or damaged implants can lead to health complications if not removed.The newest research looked at more than 12 studies with an implant and breast cancer angle and saw no evidence of breast cancer increases when silicone implants were present, along with the incidence of other cancers too.
Although saline-filled implants have taken over a good portion of the market for silicone implants, the research went as far as saying children born to women with silicone implants saw no issues (birth defects, etc.) as well.
