Guys - Get Your Own Body-Shaping Underwear

Reviews & Products

Andrew Christian underwearDon't feel left out by the Spanx revolution, guys. Female celebs like Isla Fisher and Eva Longoria have admitted to wearing body-shaping undergarments. But there are options for men, too.

A BBC Newsbeat report recently put the men's body shapers to the test -- from underwear that's supposed to prevent muffin tops and lift the butt, to undershirts that are supposed to lift, tighten and shape. So there you go, guys. While you're working out and trying to get your body healthy and fit, you can get a little help from some underwear.

We know Isla and Eva love their Spanx. But I wonder what guy celebs have some serious shape-wear underneath their designer duds.

Fix your form, guys

Fitness, Men's Health

Time to fix your form, guys, because you are not sitting on the stationary bike seat correctly, say the experts at Men's Health. You either sit too low or too high. And this is just not right. Here's why.

Too low adds stress on the knees. Too high rocks your hips from side to side. Both are uncomfortable and inefficient. You look funny too. Here's what you should do: sit on the seat and place your heel in the middle of the pedal -- where the ball of your foot would normally rest. Make sure your leg is fully extended, straight down, at the lowest point of the pedal rotation.

If you're already practicing perfect form on the bike, congrats to you. If you're not, get to work, my friends.

Boxing Champ Floyd Mayweather Jr. wants you to carve flat abs

Healthy Aging, Healthy Habits, Womens Health, Celebrities and Entertainment, Cellulite, Obesity, Diet & Weight Loss, Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment, Reviews & Products, Motivation, Nutrition & Supplements, Men's Health

"Pretty Boy Floyd" is not known for mincing words or sugar-coating anything. In fact this elite fighter who has won six world championship belts in five weight classes and has gone undefeated as a professional says it straight. He describes himself as the "greatest athlete ever," and honestly ... has done a lot to back that up.

He's featured in the book, Men's Health Celebrity Diet Secrets 2008, and I think one of his quotes is both poignant and hysterical. I encourage you not to read any further if you're easily offended though. He wasn't vulgar, but his thoughts on maintaining flat abs isn't for children either.

Before I go there, I just want you to know that Floyd not only walks the walk, but he has made it possible for his team (those who bust their butt to keep in at the top of his game) to get and stay fit as well. He's purchased memberships to 24-Hour Fitness for all of his employees. "I want to keep everyone around me healthy and in shape," he says.

Daily Fit Tip: Pinch your nose and lose weight

Ask Fitz!, Diet & Weight Loss, Celebs & Entertainment

I just read in Men's Health magazine that if you pinch your nostrils for 10 seconds, you'll curb your cravings. Since your stomach signals hunger and your brain signals 'cravings' ... this ancient Chinese acupressure point will help you pass on the doughnuts. In all of my years teaching fitness I've never heard such a thing, but you never know. Right? At least this strategy doesn't cost anything.

I personally imagine that the act of pinching, not picking, my nose for 10 seconds on purpose would simply distract me from anything else in the world I may have been focusing on, including food. So maybe the practice will work, because it seems so silly. My only non-Chinese or ancient advice is to do it with a tissue.
