Mariah Carey showed off her curves while shooting the video for her song H.A.T.E.U. in Malibu. With a new album and movie coming out, Carey has been busy promoting both in skimpy outfits that show off her full figure, and her low-cut, backless swimsuit was no exception to the 40-year-old singer's less-is-more clothing philosophy. Carey doesn't seem to mind living with a few extra pounds though. "I'm a curvy girl and switch around with my diets all the time," she explained to the Daily Mail.

Plenty of speculation has been made about her recent weight gain, from living too much of the good life with her new 29-year-old hubby, Nick Cannon, to the possibility that she might be pregnant.

Kevin Jonas, the eldest of the teenage heartthrob trio, The Jonas Brothers, has dreams of being in the White House. But not necessarily in the Oval Office. No, Kevin dreams of bowling at the White House. He said, "I know there's a bowling alley. And if I ever got the honor to bowl at the White House...."

It's not such a far-fetched goal. The Jonas Brothers are performing at a January 19th Inauguration concert hosted by Michelle Obama. Plus, the brothers met Malia and Sasha Obama when they were on the set of the Ellen show; the famous siblings played ping-pong together. (In case you were wondering -- the girls won.)

It looks to me like you've got a couple ins to the White House lanes, Kevin. While the rest of us are more likely to bowl a perfect game than bowl at the White House, it's not a bad choice for a weekend activity. It's certainly no replacement for your fitness routine, but bowling is not without some fitness perks.

Ever noticed that female talk show hosts are not the slimmest bunch of celebs? Well, we'll leave Kelly Ripa out of this discussion, because she is obviously not your average mom of three kids -- have you seen her body lately? But Oprah, Rachael Ray, Ellen, and remember Rosie? Now, these are my kind of girls. They look more like me than Heidi Klum does (so not right, that body of hers) and Jessica Alba (even an inspiring photo of her in my gym bag wouldn't do the trick, I'm afraid). Real, these women are. And that's why I like them.

Ellen is my favorite. Check her out in this video, promoting (well, kind of) the Hawaii chair for fitness. If laughing counts as a weight-loss technique, then I just dropped a few pounds.

Mariah shared on Wednesday's episode of Ellen that she doesn't drink early in the day -- her excuse for not toasting with Ellen, who wanted so badly to get the superstar to admit she's pregnant. Mariah promises there is no baby on the way. It was just too early for a drink, she said. Plus, champagne is too fattening for her.

You know, I've never been all consumed with American Idol like lots of people. But I must admit I'll tune in here and there throughout the competition. It's decent entertainment, and I kind of think Simon Cowell is sexy. Nonetheless! I just tucked my healthy babies into bed and plopped down into mine with the old laptop to write about fitness with the television on here in my room.

American Idol is in the middle of their Idol Gives Back program, and they seem to be making a great case for helping children in the U.S. and abroad. What were Ellen and Carmen Electra doing in bed together on Tuesday's Ellen Degeneres Show? They were, well, exercising.

With Carmen in her romantic, vixen-like bed and Ellen in her Hello Kitty-themed bed, the pair worked up a sweat while practicing routines from Electra's new DVD, Carmen Electra's Aerobic Striptease: Vegas Strip. The duo did a few leg lifts and some lunges from their side-by-side beds and if laughter counts as a workout, they surely got a good one.
