Study: exercising dieters may be overeating

Diet & Weight Loss, Fitness

It's odd to think that when someone exercises as a core component of trying to lose weight, they may compensate for eating more at a time when caloric intake should be precisely monitored and reviewed. But this is the case with many dieters according to new research released this week.

The problem is that these dieters may not lose as much weight as they should have since they end up eating more while still exercising.

Unless they are burning more calories in exercise as they are consuming in food, those pounds are going to be shoved aside at a much lower rate, right? Sounds logical to me, but then again, dieting can be very illogical since it involves so much emotion for many of us.
