This Desperate Housewife likes to get hot
Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment
Felicity Huffman is no stranger to fitness. She's a fan of running and has participated in triathlons. But Huffman has a new fitness love -- she's getting addicted to Bikram yoga. The 45-year-old Desperate Housewives' star says "As you get older, you get stiffer. Doing yoga has shown me that flexibility is as important as strength." Bikram yoga is nicknamed hot yoga and for good reason. When following along with Bikram's series of 26 poses, you'll be doing so in a room set to 105 degrees Fahrenheit (some classes may not set it quite so high). The idea is that your body is more flexible in heat, and the hot atmosphere warms your muscles more quickly. In addition, it's said to reduce the risk of injury, promote sweating, and release toxins from the body.
Eva Longoria Parker is fat, says costar

No. She's just fat, says Desperate Housewives costar, Felicity Huffman.
Longoria Parker, 33, has been putting on weight for her Housewives role -- character Gabby will play an overworked housewife when the show's storyline jumps five years this season -- and she'll also sport a fat suit so she appears even larger.
What else does Huffman have to say about her chubby pal? "She looks cute," says the co-star. I happen to agree.

Desperate Housewives dieting competition
Diet & Weight Loss, Celebs & Entertainment, Nutrition & Supplements
On a show starring several women, it makes sense that each actress would want to look her very best. When actress Dana Delaney arrived at Wisteria Lane to play a new character on Desperate Housewives, she noticed that this was, indeed the case. In fact, she said there was a bit of a "dieting competition" between the ladies.
Delaney isn't the only one to notice the dieting -- when she arrived, the costume designer told her, "Don't get the Desperate Housewives disease." When she asked what that meant, she was told that everybody loses weight and their clothes stop fitting.
While having a workout buddy is helpful, and partnering up to lose weight is pretty effective, this isn't sounding so healthy. At least Delaney noted that there was no fighting among the cast, putting that rumor to rest. Still, I'm hoping this competition isn't quite as bad as it sounds -- none of those women have any weight to lose!

Hot celebrities over 40 (and how they impact the rest of us)
Diet & Weight Loss, Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment
Shows like Desperate Housewives and Sex and the City have given the world a new way to look at aging. Turning 40 or 50 no longer necessarily means a party with an "Over the Hill" theme -- older men and women can be just as sexy as their much-younger counterparts. And that's a good thing. Right?Well, yes and no. It's fantastic that we are shedding our stereotypes regarding middle-age, for men as well as for women. Most men would agree that Halle Berry and Heather Locklear are just as sexy as any 20-year-old actress, and men over 40 include George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Pierce Brosnan -- 'nuf said.
However, eating disorders for adult women are on the rise. We see celebrities like Teri Hatcher, Demi Moore, and Kim Cattrall and while we know that the way they look simply isn't attainable for everyone, it doesn't mean many women don't try by resorting to anorexia or bulimia. Check out our gallery of super sexy celebrities who've celebrated 40 or more birthdays, but use these as inspiration, not for comparison. And, head over to AOL Body to see who they think is over 40 and still smokin' hot!
