The Jonas Brothers are one of the hottest acts around, with a huge amount of influence on teens and tweens, which is why the fact that they're actively talking about diabetes is such a big deal. Nick Jonas was diagnosed a couple of years ago, and instead of letting him get down about it, the brothers have used it as a platform to help others. That rocks!

Kate Hudson tends to look fabulous in whatever she wears -- haute couture, jeans and a tee, or a bikini. She doesn't just rely on genetics to keep her looking hot, though -- she incorporates all kinds of workouts into her fitness routine to stay in shape.

Everyone needs a way to get rid of their stress, and Raven-Symone is no different. The actress relies on boxing to keep her self-proclaimed "anger issues" at bay.

David Beckham told he's not strong enough

Soccer great David Beckham, at age 13 was told: "You'll never play for England, because you're too small and not strong enough." This from another young player who obviously had no idea just how big and strong Becks would become.

Now, all these years later, the superstar says the soccer field is one of his favorite places. It's where he escapes it all.

"There is this madness around me, around my family," says Beckham. "Without a doubt, out on the field is where I'm most comfortable, where I'm happiest, because I know what I'm doing, and I know I can do it."

I know how he feels, in my own small-world kind of way. Whenever madness of any sort descends on me, I run. How about you? Does your sport help you wind down?

Beckham's mom opposed to underwear ad

If you had what you considered to be a pretty perfect body, would you -- or do you -- flaunt it, show it off, maybe even allow it to be photographed for all to see? David Beckham would. And he did, when he posed in his underwear for Emporio Armani billboards in December.

People everywhere cheered upon seeing Beckham's bod. But not mom.

"When the photos came out, she was the first one to call me and say, 'What are you doing?'" say's the 32-year-old. "I had to try and explain it to her and it didn't go down that well."

So would you do it? Would your mom approve?

David Beckham... not fit?

That's hard to believe isn't it? After all, this is the man that had a whole movie named after his famed curved free kicks. But the Los Angeles Galaxy soccer star feels that, though he's been training, he's not fit for a match right now. Becks, also a member of England's National team, is jonesing for his 100th England Cap. But his fitness level could keep him on the bench as it did during this month's match against Switzerland. On his blog, Beckham stated that he respected the manager's opinion to sit him out of that match. He's racing against time in hopes to be "match ready" by the March 26th soccer duel between France and England. He could become the first player to earn 100 England Caps.

Beckham is used to breaking records. He was the first England player to score in three world cups. He's one of only five players (including Pele... that's some great company there) in World Cup history to score twice from a direct free kick. And he's captained England's team 58 times -- one of the most in history.

Beckham's to open veg-friendly restaurant in L.A.

Martha recently noted that Victoria Beckham was spotted with the somewhat controversial book Skinny Bitch, leading people to believe that the former Spice Girl has gone vegan. Now Beckham and her soccer star husband, David, are pairing up with famous Chef Gordon Ramsey to open a vegetarian-friendly restaurant in L.A. As Joanne at Slashfood pointed out, finding a restaurant that serves vegetarian dishes in L.A. is not hard to do, but seeing as the Beckham's are the new "it" couple in town, I'm guessing their restaurant will be -- at least initially -- a success.
