Kevin Federline Tries Therapy to Lose Weight

Kevin Federline has gone from K-Fed to K-Fat, and now he's in therapy to try and shed some of the chub. But the former Mr. Britney Spears isn't going at it alone. Kevin Federline and his fellow overweight competitors from "Celebrity Fit Club" are in weight-loss therapy to try to ditch the pounds and leave the reasons they gained them behind.
While some may think it would be entertaining to be in a room with Federline, group leader and "High School Musical" star, KayCee Stroh tells E! that he's just one of the guys. "He's actually quite shy and quiet and soft-spoken. But when he pipes in, he's very funny and really witty." In addition to the group counseling sessions, Stroh says everyone on the show must keep a daily journal.
In case you missed it, "Celebrity Fit Club" is VH1's answer to reality weight-loss television. Eight celebs are divided into two teams competing to lose weight and get fit. In addition to Stroh, Federline's other teammates include Skid Row musician Sebastian Bach and Tanisha Thomas from "The Bad Girls Club."

According to TMZ, Federline will take part in the next "Celebrity Fit Club," where he'll be joined by Bobby Brown, Nicole Eggert and Shar Jackson (you know, the other lady with whom he has children). And if you're dying to see what happens when the pompously-plump Federline encounters the famously-outspoken Brown, you're not alone.
Vh1's "Celebrity Fit Club" has featured such stars as plus-size model Mia Tyler, singer Carnie Wilson and actors Daniel Baldwin, Gary Busey and Bruce Vilanch. Keep up on the latest "Celebrity Fit Club" news with AOL Television.
Carnie Wilson hits 'rock bottom'
Carnie Wilson is known as one-third of the pop group Wilson Phillips. But she is even more well-known for a number -- her weight. At 300 lbs, she famously underwent gastric bypass surgery in 1999--one of the first celebrities to opt for the risky medical procedure--and wowed fans with her new body, only to gain most of it back when she gave birth to daughter Lola. Then she took some off as a participant in Celebrity Fit Club, but that too was short-lived. Now, according to a recent article in OK Magazine, she's weighing in at 208 lbs, is a size 16 and feels she's hit 'rock bottom.'In her own words: "It hurts. I don't want to feel this way anymore. It doesn't feel good when you have to struggle to get your pants on ... I'd like to lose 45 to 50 pounds and then try to get pregnant again."
While I don't endorse gastric bypass surgery as a way to lose weight, I feel for her. Luckily, she seems to have a good attitude--as she says, "I know I will [lose the weight]! I don't consider myself a failure. I just got off track."
Fat March: A long walk for weight loss
Diet & Weight Loss, Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment
Riding the wave with successful reality weight loss shows like The Biggest Loser and Celebrity Fit Club comes Fat March, which, like it's two popular cousins, involves putting a group of overweight participants to the test to see if they can lose the weight and win some cash in the process.
In Fat March, the 12 contestants walk 500 miles across 10 states. Fat March producers claim to stress teamwork, but contestants are allowed to vote out teammates at elimination if they feel a team member is keeping them from reaching their goal. And what is their goal? To reach the finish line by the time limit and split the $1.2 million prize.
Walking across country is certainly one way to get in shape; we'll have to see if it works for this crew of participants!

Singer Tiffany talks about her 25-lb weight loss
I spent my childhood idolizing Tiffany and listening to her albums over and over again. But my little brother broke my favorite tape and she was quickly forgotten -- by everyone, evidently, as she seemed to drop off the face of the planet. But she's back in the news now, and not for hits like 'I Think We're Alone Now' -- she's recently lost the 25 extra pounds she'd gained over the years, especially when going through her divorce.
Darwish (did you know what's her last name? I had no idea) lost the weight with the help of Celebrity Fit Club and has re-vamped her eating habits to include healthy proteins and lots of fruits and veggies. Unfortunately, she lost a lot of her weight in her breasts, so she had to get a boob job (!).
What do you think about Tiffany's weight loss?

Celebrity Fit Club 5 cast announced
If you're someone who looks to celebrities for weight-loss inspiration, get set for the new season of Celebrity Fit Club, featuring b-list (or c-list?) celebrities like Warren G, Dustin Diamond from Saved By The Bell (huh? isn't he skinny as a rake?!), Maureen McCormick aka Marcia from the Brady Bunch and Kimberley Locke from American Idol. The show follows overweight celebrities as they race to lose weight, with proceeds going to charities. They are helped by health experts, psychologists, trainers and even a hypnotherapist, and most celebrities from past seasons have kept all or most of the weight off.
I've never seen this show, so I'm not sure if it would inspire me to lose weight and eat healthier or not. What do you think?
