Kevin Federline Tries Therapy to Lose Weight
Diet & Weight Loss, Celebs & Entertainment

Kevin Federline has gone from K-Fed to K-Fat, and now he's in therapy to try and shed some of the chub. But the former Mr. Britney Spears isn't going at it alone. Kevin Federline and his fellow overweight competitors from "Celebrity Fit Club" are in weight-loss therapy to try to ditch the pounds and leave the reasons they gained them behind.
While some may think it would be entertaining to be in a room with Federline, group leader and "High School Musical" star, KayCee Stroh tells E! that he's just one of the guys. "He's actually quite shy and quiet and soft-spoken. But when he pipes in, he's very funny and really witty." In addition to the group counseling sessions, Stroh says everyone on the show must keep a daily journal.
In case you missed it, "Celebrity Fit Club" is VH1's answer to reality weight-loss television. Eight celebs are divided into two teams competing to lose weight and get fit. In addition to Stroh, Federline's other teammates include Skid Row musician Sebastian Bach and Tanisha Thomas from "The Bad Girls Club."
K-Fed Needs to be Fed Less
Back when he was Mr. Spears, there were a lot of negative things said about Kevin Federline, but chubby wasn't one of them -- the former dancer-turned-babydaddy was nothing if not slender. But things have changed since he and Brit broke it off -- he seems to have gone from chump to chunk at an alarming speed. Check out these photos of K-Fed out and about with his new woman. He's noticeably ... um ... heftier, shall we say? In fact, he appears to be borderline obese. That's not a very good example to set for the kids, K-Fed. And anyway, what happened to the workout DVD that was in the works?
However, his other ex, Shar Jackson, is quick to jump to his defense. "It's daddy weight!" she says. "When you are a full time parent, sometimes you can't focus on you. If gaining a few pounds is your only problem, life's not too bad!" Adds his spokesperson: "'He's very happy with the way he looks."
I hate to say it, but maybe he should check out Britney's workout video? Just a thought.
Britney Spears - Giving Up Her Hot Bod for Junk Food?

She's shed 28 pounds over the past few months, but will she keep it off? That is the question, at least as far as Britney Spears is concerned. The pop diva made an amazing comeback in 2008 -- with her career, personal life and stellar body -- but now sources close to the star are apparently worried she's about to lose her fit figure because she's addicted to junk food.
"Britney's been eating burgers and chips for lunch in complete defiance of the strict eating plan worked out for her," says the source, adding, "It's as if she's trying to defy her father and bosses, and break out of the controlled environment by turning away from the healthy lifestyle they've put in place."
Brit, sweetie, don't do it. Remember the VMA awards? That was pretty bad. You don't need to be super skinny, but at least try to be healthy. (Ditto for the 11 stars featured in the gallery below.)

How Did Angelina and Britney Lose Weight? NFL Linebacker Knows
Diet & Weight Loss, Celebs & Entertainment

Our favorite Hollywood celebs love to credit healthy diets and tip-top training (there's the good genes, too, of course) for their beautiful bods. But former NFL linebacker Billy Romanowski says his Nutrition 53 product line might just be the ingredient pushing these bodies over the top. "It's a big hit with actresses for when they have to drop weight quickly for a role," says Romanowski, who reports that Angelina Jolie and Britney Spears are fans of his all-natural shakes.
For general health and wellness, maybe Romanowski's got a good product -- I'm still suspect, but that's just me -- yet I doubt that it's powerful enough to prep you for that slinky red dress -- according to Bev, this might work, though.
Britney Spears - Weight Loss Due to 'Deadly' Diet?
"It's important to take care of your body," Britney Spears recently said about her weight loss over the past few month, adding "I've had to work hard to get [my body] back." But is it really down to hard work -- or a dangerous combination of prescription drugs, bulimic behaviour and colonics? Star magazine's recent feature on Britney's Deadly Diet makes some pretty shocking claims about the real reasons Britney has slimmed down -- hard work not included. She may look good, but she's plagued by insomnia and shaking fits. And, according to other sources, she's abusing Topomax, an anti-seizure medication known to supress appetite, as well as Valium and Xanax. And, according to an unnamed source, "Everyone thinks she still throws up when she's eaten too much, both at home and at restaurants. You can smell it in the bathroom."
Keep in mind that Star isn't exactly the most factual of sources. Do you believe the claims?

Britney Spears Says Getting in Shape Took Hard Work
We Love To Gawk At Fit Celebs, Diet & Weight Loss, Fitness, Celebs & Entertainment

Britney Spears is looking great these days, but she wants to make sure everyone knows it didn't come easily. She told Glamour, "I have had to work hard at getting [my body] back to where it used to be. I used to be obsessed with working out ... But I can't get motivated right now because I'm so focused on my music."
Whether she says she's motivated to work out or not, she definitely has been working hard getting ready for her recent live performances. Dancing hasn't just gotten her in shape, but it's helped her emotionally. And, adjusting her eating (and drinking) habits has certainly helped. Still, she doesn't exactly look forward to working out."It isn't fun, so to do it every day would be horrible. Three days a week is cool, even two. It makes me feel good and feel like I've done something. It's important to take care of your body." She is even more aware of this now, after having two children, saying, "Recently, I started to appreciate my body a bit more from before I had kids."
The full interview will be in Glamour's January issue.

Britney Spears Goes to Bed Hungry

We've all been there -- doing the old crash diet days before a big event, determined to make up for our sins in the last few months by erasing them with near-fasting eating habits. So I guess we can commiserate with Britney Spears amid reports that she's frantically trying to slim dow in preparation for her upcoming live performance on the popular British talent show X Factor. It will be her first time on British TV in five years.
"She goes to bed hungry and is dieting so hard she's suffering from insomnia, anxiety, flushes and shakes," says a friend close to the singer. "Her father and the people around her are trying to get her to eat more, but Britney is determined not to be criticised for having any extra bulk."
Fair enough, I guess, considering the fury she raised when she performed last year with a bit of extra padding. Still, I hope she's dieting healthfully.
Britney Spears - Dancing is the Best Therapy
From tubby to trim, awful to awesome, head-case to hubba hubba, Britney Spears has been on a crazy journey over the last few years, but she's made a pretty spectacular comeback. She's looking great, her career seems to be back on track and she hasn't done any bizarre publicity stunts in ages. Does Spears credit her recent sanity to a good shrink or a stint in rehab? Nah -- in a recent interview, she admitted that dancing is the best therapy."Everybody has a world that they create around themselves. If I have a lot of nervous energy, when I start dancing it goes away and I just feel emotion. It's like a rollercoaster," says the songstress. "People think that if you go through something in your life you need to go to therapy, but for me art is therapy because you are expressing yourself in such a spiritual way."
Britney's definitely on to something here -- dancing is good for the soul and body. Plus it's a really fun way to get fit.
