What you do in your 20s matters
Take sun tanning, for instance. It will age your skin, fast, because tanning equals wrinkles. No two ways about it. Wearing heavy earrings? How does lobe surgery sound? Wearing high heels too often can irreversibly damage the tendons in your legs, and toting a heavy purse around on one shoulder can lead to shoulder damage that may force you to carry around a backpack. Sexy, huh?

Fit Beauty: Dealing with acne at any age
I am well past the age when I thought I'd have to worry about major breakouts. I rarely had pimples or zits when I was a teenager and now that I'm pushing 30, I thought I was safe. Not true. I don't know what it is but suddenly I've began to have super, massive under-the-skin, painful zits on a regular basis and am getting other minor breakouts on occasion as well.
In the last week in particular my skin has been revolting -- and I use the word 'revolting' as both a verb and an adjective in this instance. I was afraid that I was alone until I got a text message from a very good friend giving me a quick update on her life. "Things are good but nearly 30 and suddenly breaking out all over".
What to eat in your 30s
Fitness, Nutrition & Supplements
- Folate: It's found in leafy greens, and it's especially important if you're considering getting pregnant in your 30s.
- Phytonutrients: These antioxidants can help protect your heart and have even been shown to prevent cancer
- Iron: Feeling drained? Get more iron. Women in their 30s are more susceptible to anemia. Lean red meat, chickpeas, potato skins and beans all have iron, and don't forget the Vitamin C -- it's crucial to Iron absorption.
