What's Better Than Sex? A Lunch Out With the Girls (No, Really!) {MyDaily}
Feb 14th 2011 10:20PM It appears that the majority of ladies who participated in this study are not getting the right kind of attention in the bedroom.
I would pick sex 11 times out of 10 before I would go to lunch with a group of lady friends.
Fall 2011 Fashion Week: Real Women at Our Mobile Makeover Van {Stylelist (Main)}
Feb 14th 2011 12:42PM Wow, I thought she looked better in the "Before" picture without makeup on. She looks very naturally beautiful. But, I am probably a bit biased. I haven't worn makeup since I was about 15. I very much prefer natural faces.

SmackDown: Would You Make Your Kid Drink Hot Sauce as Punishment? {ParentDish}
Feb 2nd 2011 1:50AM Wow, gone are the days of just getting beaten by a belt, huh? I am not sure where I stand on this hot sauce thing. But, I DID get the belt, the buckle no less, a number of times when I was a child. But, as an adult, I most certainly do not think what my folks did was wrong. Each time I received corporeal punishment I was either (i) acting in a manner that could have harmed myself or others; or (ii) was acting so unmistakably and outlandishly disrespectful to one of my parents that they too believed a small amount of pain then would save me from suffering great pain later in life.
I agree. I am no saint, but I feel that they did ok – I went to college, finished law school, pay taxes, contribute all I can to society, and have an incredible marriage and personal life in general. I do not feel any residual effects from the punishment by folks though proper when I was a child, and I harbor zero resentment for it.
So, the same may be the case here. I do know whether this was the best way to go about parenting. But, I honestly do not know what the best way it. All I do know is that I do not think that arresting this mother and charging her with child abuse (whether misdemeanor or not) for wanting to help her child learn respect and boundaries in a way that will leave no lasting pain or marks on his body seems just plain ridiculous to me.

Feb 1st 2011 6:17PM I say, let's call the Feds. I'm sure there was a crime committed here somehow. That is, of course, unless I can come. ;-)

Say It Isn't So! Kate Middleton Considering Non-White Wedding Dress? {PopEater}
Jan 31st 2011 11:20PM White, ivory, and cream for my wedding dress seemed to drab and boring. So, I went with black and crimson red, which ended up being out wedding colors. We had a fabulous 3-day wedding. I, of course, only wore the dress on the ceremony-day. But, I figured, who cares? As long as you are married by the end of your wedding event, then the darn thing was a success, right?
