Breast-Feeding Mentally Bonds Mothers to Infants, Study Finds {ParentDish}

May 26th 2011 5:11PM Actually, it's telling us that mothers who breastfeed may respond differently to the cries of their infant than mothers who don't, not just that mothers know the sound of their child's cry.

Breast-Feeding Mentally Bonds Mothers to Infants, Study Finds {ParentDish}

Actually, studies have shown that breastfed infants tend to be healthier (mom's antibodies in the breastmilk) and exhibit fewer emotional, psychological and behavioral issues (close, stable and healthy connections early in life, such as breastfeeding, set the child up for a more emotionally healthy future). Not sure where you got your ideas, but they are clearly just that--ideas.

Walking in Lady Gaga's Shoes {Stylelist (Main)}

Actually, the two year olds are probably the people who voted for a president and a congress because they wanted free healthcare. The genuine adults in this country can see what Obama and his socialists are up to. Meanwhile, the children clamor blindly for daddy Obama's "free" healthcare and "new jobs".
And Gaga...pretty? Sure. For a pig.

Moms Underestimate Influence on Kids' Obesity {ParentDish}

Oct 13th 2010 9:16PM Al-- unfortunately, the scenario you laid out isn't always feasible, otherwise more people would go by it. Not everyone has time off in which to make decent meals. Not everyone even knows what decent meals consist of. And have you seen the price of fresh fruit and veggies in comparison to a microwave meal? No contest when you're working a stretched budget. It's unfortunate but true--good food is expensive and bad food isn't, and most people couldn't tell the difference if you gave them a nutrition facts handout and a dietician.

Bret Michaels Describes His Ordeal: 'It Sounded Like a Small Handgun Went Off in the Back of My Head' {PopEater}

May 19th 2010 8:22PM An aneurysm IS a "brain bleed" (though the brain tissue itself doesn't bleed; it's the vasculature around the brain tissue that has burst). And recovery varies based upon what location of the bleed, the amount bled into the brain, how quickly the bleed is caught and treated, etc...
