Detroit 2009: Ford ready to electrify the masses with EV car in 2012 [w/VIDEO] {Autoblog}
Jan 11th 2009 3:04PM Have you been living in a bunker for the last 25 years? The manufacturers always send me surveys 30-60 days after I buy a new car. They have been doing this since the mid 90's. Also by eliminating hand cranks on the windows this minimizes tooling costs and they pass the savings onto you by including electric windows (win-win). Chances are the window regulators and switches will last the life of the car. I know someone with a car from the 80's and their electric windows work OK, so relax and welcome to the 21st century!
