Aspirin not allowed
Never give a feverish child aspirin to bring down their temperature. In fact, fevers that don't bother a child may not need to be treated at all. Many doctors believe that fevers are the body's way of fighting of the infection, though high fevers may make a child too uncomfortable. If you decide to medication, acetaminophen or ibuprofen are appropriate but you should discuss using these and dosages with your doctor ahead of time.
