Tomatoes

Tomatoes are rich in vitamin C, but perhaps their biggest benefit is the antioxidant lycopene. Lycopene is a health powerhouse and has been linked to a reduced risk of cancer and heart disease. Tomatoes are an incredibly versatile food. Enjoy them raw on their own or in a tomato, mozzarella, and basil salad with a little olive oil. Add them to soups or make a pasta sauce. They're also a great addition to salads and, when stuffed, make a great main course.
