Morticia had it right. Top-to-bottom black made her look rail thin. Wearing black can make you look slimmer too by hiding shadows made from bumps and bulges. Do you want to take attention away from one part of your body? Wear a darker color in that area. For example, wearing dark pants along with a lighter top can make your bottom half look smaller. Or go monochromatic and wear one solid dark color. Navy, black, charcoal gray, and chocolate brown are all great choices to help you look more svelte.
