You just came out with some workout DVDs - was that your idea or were you approached to do it?
Rory: When we first set out to write Skinny Bitch, we had a list. We were really fired up about making a difference in the world. Both of us were kind of lost, really unhappy, and when we realized this was what we wanted to do, it was really motivational.
Everywhere we look, there are people dropping dead of heart attacks, obesity, cancer, and all these things are related to how you're treating your body.
When we decided to write the book, we knew that somewhere down the line, there were going to be a bunch of diet books and that we also wanted to teach people to exercise.
Kim: It's a really good complement. We've guided you through the eating part, and the natural next progression is, you've gotta get moving.
