Sure, we all love the fiber and vitamins in our breakfast cereal, but that doesn't mean that just because something has "bran" in the name, it's healthy. Look to the nutrition labels, watching for excess sugar (even nutty granola can be packed with sweet stuff), preservatives, and other processed ingredients
