Sugary sweets

Not only is sugar high in calories, eating it can cause a spike in blood sugar. When your blood sugar eventually crashes (and it will crash), you'll be left hungrier than before and possibly too tired to do that afternoon workout you had planned. Get used to the taste of natural sweets like fresh fruits and berries instead, which are much lower in calories, high in fiber, and won't leave you feeling tired and hungry.
