Ginger Baby!

Ginger, recognized for its medicinal property for thousands of years, contains gingerols and shogoals that calms the stomach and tones the digestive tract. It is also known to decrease inflammation as well as benefit the cardiovascular system. This tangy root also may ramp up your metabolism. In a study published in the International Journal of Obesity in October of 1992, it was shown that ginger made the tissues of laboratory animals use more energy, which in turn facilitated weight loss. So add some zing with a bit of crystallized ginger, sip on some ginger tea, add ginger spice to your food, or try a ginger supplement.
