With a loose powder like this, you run the risk of putting WAY too much on your brush, so when in doubt, leave less on your brush than you think you need. And I really wouldn't recommend using the puff -- unless you're applying it to your entire face (which, really, you shouldn't be), it's going to look a bit streaky.
