Reader Rae tries not to eat after 9 p.m. because this allows the metabolic processes to start sooner so it can be more effective while at rest. This means you can feel slimmer and ready for breakfast in the morning, instead of feeling still full/ bloated from the night before and skipping breakfast. If your schedule permits, Rae recommends shooting for earlier than 9 p.m.
