How does Dancing With the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba stay so fit? Well, obviously dance plays some role, but she credits her upbringing with her healthy diet.

Friday Night Lights star Minka Kelly loves her curves, and she's not alone. Charlize Theron has also made it known that she thinks her curves belong right where they are, and that they make her feel "pretty hot."

Joining the "I love my curves" club is recent mama Christina Aguilera, who has worked hard to get her tummy flat and toned, but admits she's "okay with the booty and the boobs."

Keira Knightley has battled allegations that her slight build is due to an eating disorder, and though she has publicly denied having anorexia (if fact, she insists she eats like a horse), speculation has continued. Her mom is now speaking out, saying that Keira eats well and has her father's genes.

Jamie Lee Curtis once again proved to be a breath of fresh air in Hollywood. The actress is turning 50, and at this point in her life, she has come to some realizations about age, body perception, and life in general. Not only is she a class act and a role model -- she's wise, too!

Oprah Winfrey ended her 21-day vegan cleanse, and she says she got out of it exactly what she intended to get out of it -- enlightenment. She kept an online journal of her diet and talked about what she found difficult and what she found surprisingly easy. While the talk show host isn't making any commitments to going vegan, she did say, "I will forever be a more cautious and conscious eater. That's my commitment for now. To stay awakened."

Kristen Johnson has dropped 60 pounds recently, taking her from a size 12 to a size 6. She thinks she might need to put a few pounds back on (she is six feet tall, after all), but she's not going to change her new habits, which include eating lots of veggies, oatmeal, and fish, skipping the booze, and making fruit pies.

Queen Latifah has reached the weight goal she set when she joined Jenny Craig. She aimed to lose five to ten percent of her body weight in order to manage her health, and she has accomplished that. She feels it's important that she continues to represent "the big girls," but now she's also representing folks who hit the gym hard.

Linda Cardellini of ER has a smart workout plan. She keeps her elliptical machine between the kitchen and the couch so she never sits around and wanders from the kitchen to the couch and back again without getting in a workout.

Alicia Keys is super excited to see the sun for the same reasons we are -- she loves getting active outdoors. When the musician isn't camped out behind her piano or deep in thought writing a new hit, she says, "I like to do outdoorsy things. Hikes, trails, running, swimming. I love the sun. I'm all about the warmth."

Mariska Hargitay put down the Pringles and chocolate and found something new and healthier to crave -- tropical fruit.

Britney Spears is rumored to be trying a new diet to slim down -- the Victoria Beckham diet, which starts the day with water and lemon. Mmmm, satisfying.

Carrie Underwood recently displayed the best kind of fitness -- fitness of the body as well as the spirit. She took part in the 8th Annual City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge, showing off her batting skills while raising money for City of Hope, "an innovative biomedical, research, treatment, and education institute dedicated to prevention and cure of cancer and other life-threatening illness." Judging by the pictures, it looks like Carrie might really have some skills!

Janet Jackson is once again relying on a hardcore workout regiment to get into superstar shape before her comeback tour (scheduled to begin September 7). Six days out of the week, she spends an hour working out in the morning, loosens up for a bit, then dances ... for eight hours!

I remember reading about her fitness routine the last time she got her body into completely amazing shape -- it was really tough, but incorporated all kinds of fun things that she loved to do, like dancing and playing basketball. What a smart way to approach fitness!

Eva Longoria Parker's booty didn't happen by accident. The petite actress actively works to make sure she keeps a little junk in the trunk. Her trainer, Patrick Murphy, said that Eva does a variety of exercises that work her glute muscles from all different angles in order to get her rear rockin' -- just like regular people. Nice to know it's not all genetics!

Jodie Sweetin (you know, the infamous middle child, Stephanie Tanner, from Full House), is a new mom, and she's acting as a guest blogger at OK! Magazine to "blog about her trials, travails and triumphs as she works hard to get back to into her pre-baby shape."

She wants to lose 25 or 30 pounds of extra weight, and in addition to getting her meals from Nutri-System, she's incorporating a new fitness routine. Can't you just picture her yelling back at her trainer, "How rude!"?

A lot of celebrities credit their work for their fabulous physiques. Actors aren't exactly stuck behind desks, and while some films and shows certainly require them to be more sedentary than others, they all require the actors to get up off the couch.

Liv Tyler
is a great Fit Celeb role model. She keeps her figure lean and healthy without resorting to any extremes. She says she loves working out and loves the feeling of breaking a sweat, but admits that a lot of her workouts revolve around her work. For her last two movies, The Strangers and The Incredible Hulk she was required to do lots of running, screaming, crawling, and jumping, all day long.

Christina Ricci showed off how strong her training for her latest movie, Speed Racer, made her. She showed off her skills on Last Call with Carson Daly by doing a one-armed push-up, all while in heels.

Celebrity moms Cate Blanchett and Halle Berry are out and about and looking amazing. Halle dished up the details on what she's doing to get her body back, but Cate, as usual, hasn't really made mention. Cate looked like she was right back to her pre-baby svelte figure this week at the Cannes Film Festival, and it's only been four weeks since she gave birth to her newest son. Do you think it's natural that her body bounced back so quickly, or does it have more to do with the pressure a 39-year-old actress faces in Hollywood?

Valerie Bertinelli, who dropped weight last year alongside Kirstie Alley with Jenny Craig, is working hard to maintain the slim figure she achieved, but she's not complaining about it. She's continuing to follow the good habits that helped her lose weight, which means no snacking in front of the television and making sure she gets in 10,000 steps each day. With her healthy new figure came another bonus -- a rediscovery of her love of being in the water. Valerie has gotten back into watersports, like surfing. It's great to see her maintaining her weight and living a healthful life!

Sarah Ferguson admits that she continues to have negative body image issues on a daily basis, saying, "I think I'm fat, ugly, and disgusting -- that I'm unworthy and nobody likes me." The formal royal has an interesting way of dealing with these problems -- after her daily morning workout, she takes an ice bath and feels "invigorated" for the rest of the day. Hey, whatever works, right?

Britney Spears has been amazing in a number of ways lately, but most of them have not been positive, to say the least. However, she is apparently amazing her trainer, Marc Corliss, with her dedication. He states that her commitment and attitude are the reasons she's been able to drop 15 pounds in the last four weeks.

Honestly, I would be surprised if she has dropped that much weight -- she is looking healthier, but that's a lot of weight to lose in such a short time. Either way, it's nice to see her smiling, and I'm happy to see that fitness is playing a role in her recovery.

Mario Lopez is sharing his hot body secrets in his book, Mario Lopez's Knockout Fitness, which goes on sale May 13. He's currently out stumping for the book, and while he admits that it's hard to find time for fitness, he believes everyone can achieve their best body. It's certainly helpful for him that his current job requires that he dance all day, but he has some down-to-earth tips -- eat healthy, keep a journal, and stay focused. Sounds like good advice to me!

This has been a Gwyneth Paltrow-heavy week. First of all, the mother of two spoke up about her battle with post-partum depression after the birth of her second child, son Moses. She said, "I felt really out of my body ... really down ... really pessimistic." She thinks part of the problem was that she stopped taking time for herself and neglected her usual wellness treatments, such as acupuncture and massage.

And, as long as we're talking about Gwynnie and gawking, there's no WAY I'm going to leave out the wardrobe she's been sporting while stumping for her new flick, Iron Man. First of all, there have been shoes -- shoes with heels of half a foot or so. And then the dresses! Gwyneth has been rocking the shortest minidresses imaginable, mostly with great success. She certainly has the body to pull it off, although I'm firmly of the opinion that nobody should wear a skirt so short that there's serious risk of a panty-flash, no matter how fab the legs are.

In other Gwyneth news, her trainer (who she says Madonna stole) gave USWeekly a diet and exercise program designed to allow participants to lose three to five pounds a week. It doesn't look too healthy to me, so I think I'll stick with a more moderate plan and be happy to drop just a pound or two weekly.

Ashlee Simpson gives an interview to Shape magazine and talks about engaged life (it's fantastic), the tabloid gossip (it doesn't bother her anymore), and her workout, which generally takes place at her home and consists of using some weights and machines. However, her trainer added that much of her workout doesn't use equipment -- it uses her environment. She runs down her stairs, does lunges around her pool, runs back up, and does squats. Now if only we all had flights of stairs and fabulous pools to exercise around ...

Sex and the City hottie Jason Lewis tells I'm Not Obsessed his trick for keeping fit -- he grills all his food. Tasty! Grilling, I mean. Not him. Well, maybe him. I'm flustered!

Jennifer Garner is featured in the May issue of Self and talks about her love of the farmers' markets during the summer as well as how much sunscreen she wears on a daily basis. Not only is she fit and beautiful -- she a smart and healthy role model, too!

Anna Kournikova participated in the Nautica South Beach Triathlon. Sort of, anyway. She ran a four mile portion as part of a relay team for K-Swiss. She held a very respectable 7:15/mile pace, but she had another goal that took up a good bit of her focus -- raising awareness for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. The tennis player regularly incorporates running into her fitness routine, so this was not a huge stretch for her. Some observers say she's lost her curves, but I think she looks fit and healthy.

Mariah Carey is showing up everywhere lately, but there's less of her to see thanks to a lifestyle change and nutrition and fitness coach. She admits she's bummed to give up her comfort foods, like mac 'n cheese, but she's thrilled to be fitting into the same size jeans she wore in 10th grade.

Not only is Britney Spears working out at Bally (she's been there one to three times a day, lately) -- she just might become their newest spokeswoman. You know, if fitness plays a big role in Britney turning her life around, then Bally might be taking a really smart risk. Or not. Only time will tell.

Salma Hayak is human -- she gained a lot of weight while pregnant due to gestational diabetes and hasn't lost it all just yet, but she's not too concerned. As for the weight gain, she said, "This is just what it takes for me to have this baby, and I really want it!" She might not be quite back to the nearly-impossibly hourglass figure she had before becoming pregnant, but she looks healthy and happy.

OK! Magazine did a cover story on how Britney Spears lost 15 pounds -- find out how! Oh, wait ... she didn't. They just used a picture from five years ago to make it look that way. Now, honestly, if she loses weight or not isn't really the issue for Brit right now -- the girl seems to be making some progress mentally and emotionally, and it seems to me like that's where her focus should stay. Keep it up, girl!

Adrian Grenier sprints and lets the paparazzi know that it's "a non-event." I wonder if the girls with him think it's a non-event ...

Julianne Moore told OK magazine that she's "hungry all the time. All actresses are hungry all the time." That seems like quite the generalization, especially considering Sarah Jessica Parker recently came out saying that she eats everything. Who do you believe? SJP might have a ridiculously high metabolism, but I think it's more likely (and really unfortunate) that Julianne probably speaks for more of Hollywood.

Here at That's Fit, we're constantly telling you what we think about things, but sometimes it's nice to know what you think. So from time to time, we'll ask you a question. Don't be afraid to speak up -- we love feedback.

There's no doubt about it -- 2007 was a year for fitness. So many celebs shaped up and showed off their moves and I say good for them -- they're influencing thousands to get off the couch and get fit.

So my question for you is: Who was your favourite fit celeb of 2007? The choices are listed below. My personal choice? I think Felicity Huffman rocks -- running a Triathlon on the day of the Emmy's? That's fairly awe-inspiring if you ask me.

Twelve Fit Celebrities of 2007
