Win EA SPORTS Active More Workouts for Wii

Diet & Weight Loss

EA SPORTS

That's Fit expert and renowned fitness guru Bob Greene has teamed up with EA Sports for a follow up to the wildly successful EA SPORTS Active Personal Trainer for Wii. The new edition, More Workouts, hits stores today, but you can win a free copy right here! In addition to including 35 new exercises, there's a six-week challenge and a Special Edition Bob Greene Nutrition Best Life Book that features tips on creating a balanced lifestyle and recipes from the Best Life Diet Cookbook.

We spoke with Bob Greene about EA SPORTS Active More Workouts, to find out how working out with Wii can help you reach your weight loss goals. You can find contest details after the interview.

That's Fit: How did you get involved with developing this program with EA SPORTS?

Bob Greene: I've beaten up the TV and computer for making us all less active. Honestly, at first I was skeptical. Can you really get a good workout moving in front of a TV? I'm big on intensity exercise and I was impressed. The biggest challenge people face with exercise is boredom. People get sick of being on the treadmill, even walking outside -- it gets old. When I get on a stationary bike, I want to pull my hair out. But with this two minutes blows by and you're on to the next activity.

A Healthy Meal Plan Helps Prevent Diabetes

Diet & Weight Loss, Best Life with Bob Greene

November is Diabetes Awareness Month, and Oprah's fitness guru and That's Fit expert Bob Greene is on a mission to help stop this epidemic in its tracks with his new book "The Best Life Guide to Managing Diabetes and Pre-Diabetes." This is a disease that hits close to home for Greene, as both of his parents have diabetes. Today, 57 million people have been diagnosed with prediabetes -- a precursor to diabetes in which your blood sugar is higher than normal, but not quite at the diabetic range -- but it is estimated that 1 in 4 Americans over the age of 20 have the condition. Signs include fatigue, thirst, and blurred vision. The good news is, having prediabetes doesn't mean you're guaranteed to get diabetes. With lifestyle modifications and a healthy diet you can stave off the disease.

Jon Gosselin Hits the Yoga Mat

Celebs & Entertainment

Jon Gosselin, the embattled father of eight, who is most often seen hanging with girlfriend Hailey Glassman, wearing Ed Hardy t-shirts and smoking, has been on a spiritual quest as of late. And it looks like yoga is the lastest stop on his path to inner peace. In the video above, from Us Weekly, you can see the 32-year-old reality star trying his hand at a few basic poses.

Michelle Demus, Programming Director at Manhattan's Pure Yoga, looked at the snapshots of Gosselin and told the magazine that his body seems "closed off" and "holds a lot of tension."

Gosselin admitted last month that "I have allowed myself to become somewhat severed from my own moral anchor and be carried away by the challenges of fame." He added that he yearned to "reconnect with my deeper, more spiritual, more altruistic self."

What do you think? Could yoga really help Jon Gosselin ditch his bad-dad ways, or is this just another publicity stunt?

Chelsea Handler Poses in Playboy: How She Got Fit for the Shoot

Celebs & Entertainment

Playboy

Chelsea Handler graces Playboy's December cover. The host of Chelsea Lately joked with fellow host Jay Leno on his show last night that in order to get in shape for the racy Playboy shoot she quit drinking for "like a day and a half." While the funny woman made light of her fitness plan, Handler is showing off a serious body on the cover.

Wearing a skimpy gold bikini and knee-high boots, it was clear the leggy comedian worked hard for her toned figure. In an interview with Women's Health earlier this year, she said exercises four to five times a week. "I do sprints and work out with my trainer and do Pilates," she told the magazine.

Click on the video clip below to see Chelsea's reaction to seeing her cover for the first time on The Jay Leno Show Wednesday night.

Lisa Rinna also posed in Playboy. Listen to her share her fitness secrets here.
