Stainless steel is much better than plastic, because it never wears out. You can drop it and it doesn't break,you can put it in the dishwasher and not worry about it melting.It doesn't smell like plastic does sometimes, and it also keeps drinks much colder. I need this bottle, for my daily use of 8 glasses of water a day. THANK YOU for giving me the chance to win this one.

I think stainless steel is better than plastic because of the sheer waste of money and impact on the environment that the plastic has. I drink water all day long and it would be great to have a bottle that purifies as well as looks good...because a girl has got to look good! :)

I think stainless steel is better because you don't have to worry about chemicals leaching into water from the plastic.

Aside from staying home and drinking tap water out of a washable glass, the best way to be “green” while on the go is choosing your water bottle wisely.
The best way to get your daily dose of water on the go, in my opinion, is a stainless steel reusable container as they seem to exhibit the least amount of health concerns out of all the choices.
Anyway, "insulation" and "leakproof" is what I would like in a water bottle and for me that is stainless steel not plastic.
