When it comes to making decisions about our country, President Obama takes things seriously. When it comes to his health, he takes it seriously. When it comes to his staff's health, he expects an explanation as to why they didn't show up for their latest workout session.

President Obama's trainer, Cornell McClellan, is responsible for the first lady's famously toned arms and has been training the Obamas for more than a decade. As both the president and his wife are frequently seen at the gym working out hard together, it's no wonder Obama has offered to buy personal training sessions for some of his staffers.

Find out if our readers think this motivation tactic helps the overall attitude of the White House. Would you take the president up on his offer?

If people don't care about themselves, how can they care about our country? It's a step in the right direction. And I don't care for Obama so that's not why I'm saying it!

Yes. When you're a leader, you have to lead by example! Good for our President.

Make that a double "Heck Ya" for me. I think it is an awesome gesture that he would do that for his staff. He sets the bar for other bosses to care for their employees/staff.

Only if they really want to do this and are not being "pushed"... it takes dedication and the desire to be fit. A true commitment to a lifestyle makeover and behavior management. I wish them much success. :-)

Nice! Wish MY job had a trainer on staff.
