Gym Lover's Gift Guide

You know who the easiest person in the world to shop for is? The person with a hobby. Granted, it might be slightly challenging to figure out exactly which model train will best fit into Uncle Joe's collection, but when you're shopping for someone with a hobby you're into as well, it's cake!
If you've got a gym-goer on your list, we've got you covered. And, if you have a gift idea that we didn't list (because we know there are many, many more out there), feel free to add it in the comments!
Polar FT7 Fitness Heart Rate Monitor ($109.95)
Nobody trust the heart rate monitors on the equipment at the gym, right? By giving a heart rate monitor, you'll help the recipient not only prove just how wrong the treadmill is (What? Are we the only ones who like to prove machines wrong?) but also let them learn more about how different types of exercise, like Zumba, yoga and weight lifting, affect their heart rate.
Cutler Carry On Collection ($22)
Getting showered and dressed at the gym is always a bit of a pain, but our pain is always eased a bit when we know we get to shower with really lovely, high end products. This great collection includes everything a gym rat needs to get squeaky clean -- shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face soap, and body milk.
Smartvest ($164.95)
Whether you're shopping for someone who wants to move faster or jump higher, the Smartvest is a great product to help them take their fitness to the next level. And, because it fits snugly and can hold a wide variety of weight (depending on size, anywhere from one to 32 pounds), it can be used to make various activities more challenging.
Ellington Lindsay Tote ($99)
A gym bag that takes you from work(out) to play is basically essential, don't you think? And the key to a good gym/everything else bag is separation, which is why we love the Lindsay Tote -- you just toss your stinky, damp clothes in the bottom, zip it up, and you're good to go. Want something a little more rugged? Try the Ivar Revel G2, $90, with its fancy patented shelf design.
Fresh-Wave Pearl Packs ($15.95)
No matter how neat and tidy you are, it's nearly impossible to keep the inside of a gym bag smelling fresh and clean, let alone your shoes! These little Pearl Packs are super handy -- you just toss them in wherever you'd like things to smell a bit fresher, and, voila! The stink is diminished, if not eliminated entirely. Of course, you want to be careful with who you tell to "freshen up," but stinky gym bags are such a common problem, we can't imagine anybody being upset about finding them in their stocking.
