On today's episode of "The Dr. Oz Show," Dr. Mehmet Oz will reveal his best shortcuts to losing weight. "From diluting your juice to refrigerating your canned goods, these simple steps take little time but can have a big impact," Oz tells That's Fit exclusively. Find out what Oz's six top shortcuts for weight loss are below in the video preview of today's episode.


  • Eat an apple before lunch.
  • Refrigerate your cans. (Fat solidifies on the surface and can be scraped off/)
  • Dilute your juice.
  • Fake a carbohydrate. (Replace a carbohydrate with a vegetable (i.e., swap cauliflower for a potato or spaghetti with spaghetti squash.)
  • Replace oil with applesauce.
  • Work out with a partner.
