Fitness Jewelry Shows Your True Spirit Outside of the Gym

You don't walk around in yoga pants and sneakers all the time, but that doesn't mean you leave your fitness-minded side behind when you slip into stilettos or jeans. What if there were a way to incorporate your devotion to fitness into your stylish sensibilities?
As is so often the case in life, the answer is accessories. The right fitness-themed jewelry will let you show off the fact that you're both fashionable and fit -- and often at a totally reasonable price.
Our friends over at Fit Bottomed Girls introduced us to The Silver Maple, which specializes in fitness jewelry. We immediately fell in love with the idea of commemorating a fitness event with a piece of jewelry and decided we probably needed to celebrate our next big race with a customized necklace. But before we started counting out letters and working on a design, we thought we'd check out what else is available out there.
Runners, you guys really clean up -- there are tons of amazing options. This Love to Run Marathons necklace by Winterberry Jewelry ($22, Etsy) is cute and casual, while this Marathon 26.2 necklace by RunWildJewelry ($39, Etsy) is a little more artsy. This Run ring by Nora McNamara ($20, Etsy) makes a subtle but unmistakable statement about what you love to do. Our real favorite, however, has to be the Marathon Man necklace by Starrbeads ($34, Etsy). It's such a simple design and doesn't immediately jump out as a fitness piece, but it still gets the message across beautifully.
In more of a triathlon state of mind? You'll definitely dig this Tri Tag by flyjewelry ($70, Etsy). It's shiny and pretty, sure, but we're really drawn to the funky style of the pictures. Or, for a slightly different look, have a peek at this two-tone Triathlon sterling silver charm by JessicasGifts ($16.50, Etsy).
Consider yourself a gym rat? Gym Gems has lots of lovely accessories, but we're pretty partial to the Dumbbell ring ($65-$285, depending on your choice of metal). Then again, we also like the way this Jump Rope pendant by pinktophat ($20, Etsy) makes you look twice to figure out just what it is, but once you see the jump rope, you can't help but smile. And who can forget one of the latest trends, the kettlebell? This sterling silver kettlebell necklace by Fashletics ($65, Etsy) has an industrial but unmistakably stylish look.
Yogis, don't worry. We didn't forget about you! This Square Glass Tile Lotus Zen pendant by artellect ($18, Etsy) is bright and happy and sure to get noticed. And we're a bit partial to the Mountain Pose necklace by makadesigns ($45, Etsy) for it's subtle message and hammered silver design.
