You've probably participated in -- or at least heard of -- a breast cancer awareness walk or run. But with the plethora of unique and fun ways to burn calories these days, new methods are being used to help the cause. A prime example: the Party in Pink Zumbathon.

Zumba Fitness has teamed up with Susan G. Komen for the Cure to create the new fitness fundraiser, in which a Zumba instructor teaches the Latin-inspired workout routine either in a gym or outside. Seventy-five percent of the sales from each ticket benefit Komen and the fight against cancer, so you can dance and sweat all day for a good cause.

With nearly 200 scheduled across the country from mid-September to October 31, it's easy to participate: Simply find one near you.

Not only are people exercising for cancer, but they're also running in lieu of probation. Find out how a certain charity group gives juvenile offenders a healthy alternative.
