Just a couple of weeks after going on the Master Cleanse with husband Ashton Kutcher and claiming it was "all about health," Demi Moore is defending a new, "healthier" diet, reports The Huffington Post.

Moore tweeted yesterday that she had only lasted four days on the Master Cleanse (which consists of drinking only a mixture of lemon juice, maple syrup, water and cayenne pepper several times a day, plus the occasional glass of salt water and an herbal laxative tea), but was currently on day 13 of the Clean Program.

The Clean Program is a 21-day diet of smoothies and dinner salads created by Dr. Alejandro Junger, and according to Moore, it's "far healthier and more liveable" than the Master Cleanse.

We have to wonder if the constant dieting is making Moore a bit moody, however, as she's been a little testy in some of her tweets. When a follower said she thought a healthy diet and exercise was the best way to go, Moore replied, "@chazzyb31 I think you need to research what it is I am doing there is no starving involved! It is all about nourishing the body!"

What do you think? Are you more likely to stick to a regular diet and exercise routine, or do you rely on diets like these for weight loss? If you think the Master Cleanse might be right for you, be sure to check out our Master Cleanse review.
