While it's still pending as a "test item," the "Footlong Cheeseburger," pictured on Food Beast, is potentially making its way onto fast food restaurant chain Carl's Jr.'s menu. Competing with KFC's Double Down and Friendly's Burgermelt, this heart attack on a hero is being tested at the chain's Santa Ana, Calif. locations.

Consisting of several small beef patties on one large bun, this new, less-than-healthy creation comes in different sizes. Is a foot long cheeseburger for $4 simply not enough? Good news: you can order the "Deluxe" version for just 50 cents more, which comes with onions, lettuce and tomatoes. Although most customers eating this sandwich probably aren't looking for a full serving of vegetables, it's sad that even a few shreds of lettuce and onions couldn't be included in the price of the item.

The 12-inch "burger" (it's unclear if this is a sub or a burger) is so large that it sticks out of the most of the to-go bags provided by Carl's Jr; an effective way to show off what you've just spent your money on. Tell us, will you be rushing to try this new fast food whatcha-ma-call-it if it becomes a permanent menu item?

It doesn't end there. Check out these top 10 worst fast food meals to see if what you're eating is on the list.
