That pose is great for you. I have lost 30 pounds over the last 6 months and I do yoga twice a week and brisk walking daily.
Walking also helps you to live longer. Studies have shown that those who walk regularly increase their life span by twice the length of the walk. Go for a 30 minute walk, live an hour longer. Now THAT'S a reason to go for a walk.
What has also cotributed to my weight loss is watching my calories, eating less processed foods and walking every day. I have no desire to be skinny, just healthy, toned and curvy!
