You may see signs of aging in your body, from wrinkles and achy joints to gray hair and think that there's nothing you can do. There are some surprising daily activities, however, that may contribute to you looking beyond your years.
Besides the well-known aging culprits like smoking and tanning, other common habits can have the same effect on your longevity. Having a cluttered apartment, for instance, creates a sense of stress that causes certain hormone levels to rise in your body and can therefore lead to age-related health problems. Being a pessimist can also hinder your longevity, as studies have shown that those with a positive attitude have better immunity, are less depressed and are more likely to seek help for health issues.
