Our Reviewer Says ...
"It's actually a very simple approach that shows dieters how to follow the same nutritional habits of a Mediterranean-style diet."
At a Glance
The Mediterranean Prescription diet may sound medically-based, but it's actually a very simple approach that shows dieters how to follow a Mediterranean diet, which includes plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts and seeds, legumes, olive oil and fish.
The program is divided into two parts -- a strict two-week weight-loss stage and a maintenance phase which dieters follow for the rest of their lives.
